The GCC Arabs never even accepted Iranians as muslims. Even if they were hardcore Sunnis, or converted to hardcore Sunnis today, Iranians will still be 'majoos'; sun worshippers. So no, that's not the answer. The answer is for Iran to get rid of those sanctions, develop it's economy and country, and let anybody who think religion is the most important thing in life suck a fat one. Simple as that.

I am afraid you missed it a bit here. It is correct that the GCC Arabs, Iraqis, and large part of other Arabs generally use the terms "majoos" and "fire worshipers" to curse Persian Iranians. That's the same of Persian Iranians saying "malakh-khor" "soosmar-khor" or "tazis". I haven't ever read or heard the slurs "majoos" or "fire worshipers" being used prior to the Safavids. I could be wrong though. But, I don't agree with you that Sunni Persians (despite being a tiny minority now) will be rejected as non-Muslims. While it is true that Persians are the least favorable people to Arabs, the Arabs themselves do still have a great respect of religion in their hearts, and wouldn't therefore reject them religiously.

They may hate them or dislike them racially, but they will tolerate them religiously and accept them. If you are familiar with the term "Houalah" you will know what I mean. "Houalah" are moslty Sunni Persians that immigrated to the GCC Arab countries (even to KSA) and assimilated. Some of the "Houalah" are Arabs that lived in Bandar Abbas or Bastak or elsewhere then they came back. But most of the "Houalah" are actually Persians but they like to be associated with Arabs more to avoid discrimination. GCC Arabs are generally O.K with Houalah and they do intermarry (with some racial dislike still !). When Persians where Sunnis, many of their religious leaders were teaching or regularly leading prayers among the Sunni Arab world. Khorasani Persians, before their conversion, were quite devout Muslims. Naturally, after the Safavids the whole thing has changed to what you see today.

So basically all I get from you is this Nusra-ite saying of: Iranians can be acceptable (barely), as long as they're either Sunni or not Persian. Guess we're done talking then.

Common dude, you are talking like you are somebody who traces his family roots to Iceland. You are already aware that the word "Arab" is already an insult among Persians (or close to being an insult). Based on what I read and hear, I guess the word "Arab" is something close to the ultimate ugliness among Persians. It does bring a mental image of a blood thirsty and savage person that just should not have been created.

Well, both sides don't like each other. I'm not agreeing with any side. I'm all fine with a cold war. Let's keep it cold. Trade would help.

It is not true.
