Turkey will never be a member of the EU, for she is not seen as an equal, but a convenient servant at most. Many Europeans still see Turkey and Turks as barbarians and a threat, especially in the coming 50 years when Turkey hopefully will become a developed regional power. They will never let Turkey have a say in Europe
the Ummah is also impossible at the moment, at least for the coming 50 years, because it's obviously experiencing a kind of middle ages, dark times indeed.
Turan would be cool, but how can we have a strong and influential union when the other potential member states are thousands of kms away. furthermore, except from a small strip of land called nakchivan, we do not have any physical connection with other Turkic states.
SCO would be worse than the EU, we would become puppets states of Russia and China
The ideal path would be, in my eyes, an eastern Mediterranean union, not filtering the nations on religion, ethnicity or culture, but common goals of economic and social prosperity, technology, freedom, and self determination. Potential members could be varying from Greece to Kazakhstan, but again, this will be impossible to obtain regarding many regimes in the region. These nations must learn to stick to each other and stop the intermingling of foreign powers with the autonomy and self determination of these countries, for the people cannot choose their own leaders, but they are chosen for them by the west. This is one of the biggest problems, combined with the downfall of a functional juridical system which should be protecting rights.
