Even during cold war ,there were no such statements made. This time since 2008 ,there has been a universal chorus. Google Gerald Celente ,Marc Faber, Mike Shedlock ,Peter Schiff,Paul Craig Roberts.Almost all financial analysts are anticipating a major war .Same pattern b/w Great Depression and World war 2.

Even the russophobe Andrew McKillop is screaming that EU stop needling Russia. This time, the tone of many former bureaucrats of USA,EU is different.

As reported by Tyler Durden of Zero Hedge, the Russian response to the extra-legal ruling of a corrupt court in the Netherlands, which had no jurisdiction over the case on which it ruled, awarding $50 billion dollars from the Russian government to shareholders of Yukos, a corrupt entity that was looting Russia and evading taxes, is telling. Asked what Russia would do about the ruling, an advisor to President Putin replied, “There is a war coming in Europe.” Do you really think this ruling matters?”

Exactly. This time the US has had enough of Russia. Who do you think orchestrated the conflicts in Libya, Syria, which were allies of Russia. Who do you think orchestrated the conflict in Ukraine with Maidan? Belarus is next. The US considers Lukashenko the last dictator of Europe and Belarus has a presidential election next year. After that, it'll be Maidan in Moscow.

think it's a little too late for that.
Rafale is the best plane for the job.
price would go down if India let's the French built more of the Rafales in France and send them to India.
France is very much empty pockets, they can't afford to buy more Rafale.

India asks whole packge of TOT and Rafale feels reluctant to set another assembly line with HAL and be resposible for the delivery deadline. India just asks too much while you don't have many bargin chips as you think. Time is elapsing every seconds.

As far as i know, India is not going along happily with Russia in FGFA development. You acutally are facing difficulty of making decision.

I thought you are Indian American, that's why you are here.

you assumed wrong.
i don't take sides.
you don't see me spewing propaganda for India and bashing Pakistan?

First, by now Rafales amount to some 180 million a pop for India. That's F-22 priced for a 4.5 gen. Second, France has shown it is not a reliable arms supplier. For example, suspension of Mistrals to Russia under pressure from America despite record job losses in France.

If Pakistan and India go to war, because Pakistan is an MNNA country and India is not, France would halt delivery of planes or parts to India and India would not be able to use Rafales against JF-17.
The biggest load of nonsense I have seen in a while.

$180 Million per a/c? Dream on, more like $90-100 MN (about what the IAF is paying for their latest batch of MKIs ). The latest figure for the entire procurement is $16BN not the BS $20-25BN figure the Indian media have pulled out of their backsides.

As for being a MNNA- this means diddly squat, you really think NATO are coming to the aid of Pakistan? Nowhere in the MNNA agreement is there that NATO will back Pakistan in hostilities- this is reserved for full NATO members only. Does anyone really think NATO/France are going to take PAKISTAN'S side over India's? Putting aside right and wrong, no major player today will want to risk their relationship (economic or otherwise) with India.
