So Pakistanis feel the responsibilities for all the Muslims around the world? Be them central Asians, East Asians, Africans?

1. There was no "Soviet invasion of Afghanistan". USSR entered Afghanistan on the invitation of the legitimate Afghan government. The real invaders there were militants from all over the world, notably those like Osama bin Laden. These militants were aided and funded by CIA, ISI, MI6 and the like.

2. Whereas, there were actual NATO invasions of Iraq, Libya and Syria.

Pakistan is a country not a religion, Country comes first, If you ask the extremist 2% of the population, they will chose religion and will chose to side with non friendly Muslim country over friendly Nation.
