SRINAGAR

A militant and Policeman were killed and two other security personnel were injured in an encounter with militants in Pulwama district of south Kashmir on Monday.

Police sources said the encounter took place at Mandora Tral, during an operation launched by the forces following information about the presence of militants in the area.

A policeman has been killed while another cop and a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel sustained injuries in the exchange of fire with the militants, the police spokesman said.

He said intermittent exchange of fire between the two sides was going on till last reports came in.

I don't have any clue what is going on in Tral. I called my class mate in tral and he told me that situation is very tense. So far one Mujahid is believed to be martyred & two more are struggling. Choppers, full battalions, sophisticated armed cavalcades & electronic devices are being utilized to gun-down only two remaining mujahideen. Moreover, we must confirm from @Ilyas naik brother, who is from tral, what is actually going on in Tral. Some reports also suggest that they have escaped and broken the cordon.

In north Kashmir's bandipora district in Sumbal area, reports are that Army Good Will school has been burnt by angry protestors.
So, situation is overall tense in Kashmir valley. Here is already Kashmir Bandh against the killing of two Kashmir youth in sumbal Bandipora by indian Army.

Mean while, Hizbul Mujahideen has accepted the responsibility of Tral attack!!!

@danish mir yes bro a mujahid has been martyred in tral ,he is from dadsara tral and two mujahids are belived to be trapped. A house house has been destroyed by indian forces and gunfight is still going on. Pray for them and indian army is beating civilians in the area .

Our local Kashmir Police is enough to deal with these terrorist rats....In last 2-3 years Kashmir Police has done a very good job especially in COIN operations. Local police have been trained very well.
