Responding within 12 hours, #Bannu Police worked throughout the night to arrest 2 culprits at 6:45am involved in torturing, killing the animal and making video of it.
#KPPolice thanks Social Media users for raising the issue.

i saw the video of the dog being shot how shameful is this person and the person that told him to shoot the dog are they so heartless the dog didn't even die on the spot it was screaming in agony these guys deserve no remorse

I also deplored whoever wrapped that Donkey in PMLN flag and beat it to its demise that it is subhuman to do such brutality and killing a dog like this is no worse. At least the dog suffered far less than the donkey that lingered on for a few days in dismal state before succumbing to its injuries.

These acts are all derogatory and below acceptable human standards. Culprits should be punished and rehabilitated as best as they possibly could... That's what differentiates Humans from Animals, there is always a possibility and a chance of redemption.

Well fruits of 5 years of excellent governance are becoming visible. It is on par with the best of the best police forces in the world. I remember KPK police response time of 2.5 minutes when Peshawar university for attacked by the scumbags.

Since police is a provincial subject so I can't say for sure about Sindh but I can bet Punjab police will be reformed under PTI's govt in Punjab inshaAllah.

THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS ACT, 1890(link)

Clause 5: If any person kills any animal in an unnecessarily cruel manner, he shall be punished with fine which may extend to two hundred rupees (now amended as of 22 Jan, 2018), or with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with both. (link)

Amended Clause 5 as of 22 Jan, 2018 : In the said Act, in section 5, for the words “two hundred rupees”, the words “three hundred thousand rupees, but shall not be less than fifty thousand rupees” shall be substituted.(link)

this mean maximum punishment could be 300K fine and/or imprisonment for six months
