What's new

POF signed a contract with FEDARMS USA for a Assembly line for the production of FEDARMS AR-15

So this contract is also for making parts for the BW21 series.
Don't know what do you mean, do you mean this contract with POF or the contract they have with the government is for BW21 series??

.
No one has raised objection on quality of product. Price is main issue here

I'll try finding the video again it was a youtube short of cadets from FC Balochistan SOW and in between, them were active members with m4s.

Whatever the case if it hinders the local production of the BW-20 series of rifles then we don't want fcking Ar15s
BW 20 is a disaster. By all means best way forward is getting Turkish assault rifles with TOT and to do joint ventures with Turkish companies like Kale Kalip, Sarlismaz, Canik and others

In all seriousness, this is probably the route the Pakistan Army will ultimately take once the funding is available, IMHO.

Not Daniel Defense not Geissele not FN America, not even BCM.

They found this company.

Why would you do that?

I have same question. Not Bushmaster, or Colt or any one else but this one which even those who love Guns in USA hardly know about

. .
This company has a very poor reputation. Another greasy palm moment.
lol, they are essentially the "Chinese Knock Off" with a 600 price tag and made in America. You probably get the same quality than a Norinco $400 AR

Well, there are a few OEM gun smith that are really good, but not Fedarm...

I meant that they might provide parts for the BW21 rifle.

US is replacing AR style (M-16) infantry weapon for it’s Army and Marine corps and these idiots at POF are signing LoU for it.

Spend few extra bucks and equipment your army with a proper infantry weapons. FFS. Stop looking at commercial aspect in defence item.

POF wanted to build and export SCAR, which I guess is not good for business for the original manufacturer. It’s a Top class weapon. FN must have ask for more money or to drop the export part. Which Pakistan could have done for a dacade or so until it equip it’s troops.

Btw BW21 isnt the only 7.62x51 that is indigenous or in trials.

Maybe, that's depends on would you want to use it, and would you want to give them the schematic to produce it.

As I said, these OEM People are a small operation, there are 10-20 people in that company with a few machine. So it's kind of risky to hire them to do works if you are depending upon it.

Even the 800$ M&P Sport AR is way better than whatever this is
