Congress didn't object to the FMS to Pakistan, so the legal part is approved as the 30 day deadline expired by the end of last month.
But Pakistan yet has to order the planes worth $855 million.

p3c has further versions and this thread explains a bit regarding the version with PN coupled with hawkeye2000 -- so do not underestimate them

Now bewcause Pakistan will not get anything from US & Europe the best thing for Pakistan to do here is to stick with China.

Sadly as has been the Pakistan Navy's tradition it is neglected arm of the armed forces! we currently have outdated subs & upgraded old airframes of P3 orions! if it comes down to a war situation a naval blockade would be very much on the cards

no FMS funds available. the 5 P-3B(H) were allocated to PK (and still are) but the US$900m is not available for the Hawkeye-2000 system.
