PMLN delivered what it promised, i'm happy of their progress except for a few hiccups here and there.

  1. In worst era of Mr. 10% pakistan's exports rose from 21 billion dollars to 28 billion dollars but now in Corrupt Sharif's Gov't exports are down to even less than musharaf era's 21 billion figures despite the fact that now pakistan's entire narrative has changed due to CPEC,GSP status,gas/electricity to the lowest, terrorism to the lowest, political stability and clear majority for the ruling party.
  2. Agriculture is down by a whopping 27%.
  3. Textile industry is collapsing and industries being shifted to either bandladesh/srilanka or investors transiting from textile to real estate
  4. Our debts are at an all time high.
  5. Circular debts are crossing 670 billion
  6. PIA,Steel Mills and Pakistan Railways are having losses of more than 300 billion
  7. I read news yesterday that there was corruption of 66 billion in just 6 punjab gov't departments according to auditor general's report.
  8. All institutions of state including police, education and health have gone from bad to worse.Even if some mishap occurs to me or my family i wouldn't go to a police station just because of the consequences that i will have to bear for exercising my own legal and constitutional rights.
After saying all this i would say that this is worst governance even when compared with the rule of Mr. 10%.

Let's hope that GHQ can remain even impartial by resisting Arabs and other King Makers. We all know what happened at consolidation time in 2013 when R.Os were cordened off by Jawans and magic happened.:-)
Typical youthian blaming Establishment for all their ills & incompetence.

pmln will not lose if nawaz sharif can manage bajwa.

bajwa seems very manageable..

Sources told Daily Times that the secret agencies issued an alarming report in which it is revealed that improvement of the systems of policing, education and heath in Punjab are the demand of the public and they don't need the construction of new roads, orange line train and metro bus service.

There is no money in the bank. When PMLN assumed the leadership, there was already huge debt to begin with, then there is no way PMLN could afford to invest borrowed-loans on the education and health that provides nothing in return, hence then commercial projects such as expansion highways from Peshawar to Karachi, Karachi to Lahore,...etc, Orange line train, Metro bus, fast-tracked CPEC, and energy sector.

The biggest issue is the energy sector, and that is what PMLN has focused on. Once the economy stabilizes, the funding will be available for the health and education department. I can understand the public being little impatient, but if they have waited for so long, little bit wouldn't hurt them for the long term benefit that is just around the corner.

For how long the nation should continue to beg and survive on donation? The nation can not survive on donation like the hospitals are, and that is why it is imperative to be independence, hence the commercial projects at first just to revive the economy and return the borrowed-loans with interest.

More than the political party, it is the budget of Army that continues to bleed the public's tax payers. It is obvious that their money cannot be spent on the education and health with war just around the corner. There is nothing any political party can do at this moment except stabilize the economy and hope that put Pakistan on the right track.

That is what the next election is all about. And i think the energy crisis will be resolved by 2018 since PMLN might be desperate to fast-track the energy sector into completion just like they did fast-track CPEC in the shortest span of time.

.
As i said in a previous thread, this is very much expected. Odds are not going to be in PML-N's favour this time because they have the dis-advantage of incumbency, and PTI will be a lot more organized in 2018. PTI will be fielding political heavyweights in 2018, and it seems that they have largely abandoned the policy of giving Election Tickets to political unknowns when it comes to Sindh and Punjab. The advantage of fielding political heavyweights is that they know how to run an election campaign, mobilize the votes and reduce the chances of rigging.

Thank you for the correction.

I would have though that being the incumbents gives PML-N an advantage, given that control of state machinery generates certain "privileges" during elections. Even PTI's new strategy of nominating "heavyweights" is an indirect admission that the biradari vote bank philosophy will remain in effective play this time around as well, an outcome that ensures that the old system will survive, no matter what the name of the winning party.

What if i told you that there is no electricity crisis in Pakistan.Pakistan's electricity production capacity is currently 23000 MW whereas the highest demand at summers peak time is around 18000 MW. Loadshedding is due to the reason that gov't isn't clearing the dues/payments of IPP's(Independent Power Producers) which's more than Rs 670 billion nowadays which's also known as "Circular Debt" which's why IPP's stop electricity production.

These new high-budget power projects are just new ventures to do corruption by awarding the projects to themselves like Port-Qasim which was awarded to Corrupt Sharif family's business partner aka Qatari Shehzada

He was talking in terms of corruption, that PML-N promised massive corruption and they have been right on the spot in terms of delivering menacing corruption to the country.

Good Answer though

Off course. Use of state machinery is an advantage but they also have to contend with the fact that they have not delivered the Governance they promised. Almost every civilian institution is on the verge of collapse, and corruption has reached an all time high.

I don't know why PTI did not follow this strategy in 2013 but unfortunately, when it comes to electoral politics in Sindh and Punjab, Electable's dominate the political machinery. If i am to blame someone i blame the public, for always voting for the Heavyweights and not the most qualified. PTI largely fielded political unknowns in Punjab. Although they did score admirable 50-60K of average votes in each constituency, it wasn't enough to push them towards a win. Also, the heavyweights have the influence and power to ensure there is no rigging against them which PML-N is a master in.

Sir! If you don't have the manners to conduct a debate in civil manner and have to use slangs and abuse, kindly refrain from polluting the thread.

As far as, 2013's elections are concerned, I might be sharing a court judgement or wikileaks regarding it in 2026 just like following one where DG ISI himself admitted rigging 90's election in favor of PMLN headed IJI and case was concluded in 2012. And we will still be debating about establishment's role in elections of that time .
1990 election was rigged, rules SC

Voting pattern is different aspect and reforming the system of police, education, tax, and hospitals is different aspect. Second has the capacity to change first pattern. If you can only reform police, it is going to have a major effect on voting pattern.
