Corruption in extremely deep down Punjab govt machinery with the blessing of PMLn They have very high chances of gaining majority seats . They planted there faithful since last 35 years. So, one can imagine ..

Askari will rigg elections in PTIs favor like Sethi
election process is not easy to rigg, if it deos happen there will be contraversy and IK will probably not want it lol

as i said before the polls are not much different now its like 40 vs 60 in NS favour, the only thing matter is who will vote actually on the day..by looking at polls and votes its clear that equal number of people dont vote from each side meaning, 60% population simply does bother to vote, so amongst those 60% non voters who ever is able to mobilize there people will win

PML-N will still take the majority of seats from Punjab, the ratio of won seats will definitely be less than in last elections, but they will still win in Punjab. For me, it would be more interesting to see how many seats PTI wins in urban Sindh, as they may be crucial in giving PTI the majority in the national assembly.
i agree, unless people decide to go and vote, remember the silent majority doesnt vote, this is what exactly happened in USA and britain, those who supported the underdog and went and vote

the other factor would be how the next 2 months play out in key electrol promise, load shedding, we know PML N kept the circular debt ballooning to ensure no load shedding only in northern punjab(its heart) but with surging demands and fiscal problems the next govt cant fund the 1200 billion rupees circular debt any more. neither will be the next govt able to do so..

in 2013 there was no competition, the lead was very big, but its not true any more, the difference is just around 10 points now, the reason why you saw close calls in by polls even though people dont vote in by polls

PMLN PTI ko saji wakha ke khabi maar daiti hai, PTI ko baad main samajh aati hai ke haath ho gaya. No election reforms since last election, same election and civil administration, same police officers, election commission of PMLN and PPP choice and PTI think just CM of their choice will make things neutral, By criticizing Askari PMLN is diverting the attention and also pressuring CM not to play too much with arrangements already in place.

Nawaz sharif and Maryam tried their best to dent PML(N) as much as they could in last few months . PML(N) was clear favourite before Nawaz madness and hysteria against institutions of Pakistan so they should blame themselves if they dont get majroity seats in Punjab. Change would be good if it comes through the will of people . Lets see

Then what will be the difference between pmln and pti?
If PTI will come to power through rigging then forget about 'tabdeeli'.
Rigging is easy excuse to justify defeat

so dont expect from our political parties to embrace defeat gracefully

they have plenty of excuses and justfication ready in case of facing defeat

Bas phir Pakistan ka Allah hi hafiz hai.

Well PMLN is still the most popular party leading with 38 points while PTI is on second with 26 points and PPP on third with 17 points

May the best party wins

I know, I just think they may still retain a slim majority in Punjab. Which is why winning seats outside of Punjab, especially in Sindh, will be very important for PTI.

Yes, as far as I can tell, PMLN can still win on the basis of Punjab alone. I WANT PTI to win but will have to accept whoever the majority votes for. Sad, but let's not repeat the mistakes of the past and steal people's mandates. Elections in Pakistan had disastrous consequences in the past and we can go back as far as the 1962 elections (Ayub Khan vs Fatima Jinnah). Some consequences had been subtle, took a while to materialize, but they were bad for Pakistan. Respect people's choice and ABOVE ALL provide continuity of policies and stability. No revolutions. Evolution.

As for Prof. Askari, he's a very good choice. I have been watching the 'Think Tank' shows almost daily and love the debates. He's been active in that. He may be against Nawaz a bit but he's a fair minded person and you can count on him to be good caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab.

Anyway, here is a latest show.
