PMLN completely wiped out in Gilgit Baltistan elections

PTI needs 13 seats overall to form government. Out of 7, 5 ind are pti own people and other 2 will join them most likely. Add 1 MWM seat aswell.
Same candidate won both GBLA 1 and 4 for PPP, will have to vacate on one seat. So there will be polls on 2 seats ( GBLA 3 and the vacated one).

ok i didn't knew 1 candidate of PPP won from 2 seats so in supp elections PTI may win that seat as well which will be vacated by that PPP candidate.

Unfortunately I think its probably no more than 2-3 due to their small population (if seats allocation follows the conventional method, which emphasises on population count). Albeit the small gain the biggest importance is for PTI to be able to form the local government there is so that the mir jafar coalition cannot wreak havoc in the newly formed province. The biggest gain though for PTI should they form government, would be that they would easily take away half of the senators from GB, further solidifying their influence in the senate. [Though not sure if GB will be allocated any senate seats in time for the next senate elections in march].

The fact that PTI got the most seats, and combined opposition won only 3+2 seats defeats the main narrative of PDM - that is people want to get rid of IK/PTI and want Pmln or PPP back. Even independents won more than the PDM combined! Their plan or hope was to beat PTI by joining forces, and then boost their narrative in rest of Pakistan. It may not be a huge victory for PTI as it has fed. govt, but it would have been a huge defeat otherwise in these circumstances.
5 PTI workers winning as independents show that people will actually vote for change if provided a choice - I hope PTI and IK take lesson from this and provide tickets on merit next time.

But honestly expect a pathetic and shameful comeback from some of the PMLN drones here, for example :

I mean just be ready for really really lame and pathetic excuses and explanations.

Most of the time who ever is in government wins the AJK elections aswell. I still dont understand if not rigging then how can this happen as people vote on bradarism and tribe base. The new candidates have a minor chance of winning the elections. But let's see.
