What's new

PMLN announce political alliance with Jahangir Tareen party.

The problem now is all Pti leadership has left Imran Khan, even the ex PM and Pti party president left. The party is finished unfortunately.

Correct.
And the 'party' was a one-man show anyway.
Expats and fanbois just don't understand how electioneering works in Pakistan: The leaders and the electables spend money, hold a lot of political gatherings and much more to 'mobilize' people to vote for them. It is big business and politicians don't part with their money easily. And hence the nastiness and violence, especially in Punjab. Biradery system, clan loyalties, threats, family ties, inducements.... a lot has to happen before a candidate wins. Cheating and rigging can only help so much in Pakistan otherwise Imran wouldn't have lost the byelections leading up to April 2022 and wouldn't have won the byelections after April 2022.

The PTI fanbois' idea that Imran Khan is some Salahuddin or Superman marching up and down from Karachi to Khyber on a horse to win the elections is laughable. Even his personal popularity will decline as the propaganda builds up and people realize that Imran Khan is history for at least next few years.

But imagine if the Pakistani population were educated, had morals, values, ethics, were honest, followed an political ideology, had knowledge about politics, economy, how to stop corruption, how to select better representatives. Only then a real change would come, noone would be able to stop the strong 250M population. The armed forces, lawyers, judiciary, police, rangers, politicians, political workers are all from the people. In Turkey Erdogan was about to be finished but the people of Turkey came on the streets, if things went out of control then more people would have came. Turkey changed because the people changed.

Deep down i still have hope whatever IK has been saying for the last decade, the people of Pakistan have woken up for a change. But looking at the facts it all looks the same as before, I did notice alot of youth are following IK but their morals, values, ethnics is still the old one. IK is 100% correct when it comes to corruption, making institutes strong and independent, accountability etc.

Alot of people on PDF including yourself are only pointing out the mistakes IK and PTI made, I believe its a good thing, IK and Pti should learn and try to calm everything down, encourage all workers to be released from jails, human right abuses stopped, false cases finished, then slowly make a come back but without the lotas, bring in the young educated loyal people, make Pti ideology strong. If the people of Pakistan are ready then they will vote for new representatives rather than the electables, baradari people, tycoons etc.

Pti need to shake out traitors.

Cowards and gandoos exposed

Luckily all electables, tycoons are leaving, so realisticly if 80% of the population still wants a change, better policies, governance, independent Institutes, accountability, major reforms then they should still vote PTI. In AJK we just had elections yesterday, PPP candidate won, Pmln 2nd and Pti gained just 1000 votes. This was the seat of ex PTI Ajk PM Illyas Tanvir. A big mistake to allow him to join PTI, including Barrister Sultan, these people will never sacrifice their political career, wealth for IK, PTI or Pakistan. One was PM, other was President AjK and leader of PTI AJK.

Yes, an educated population is always better than an uneducated one.
But how has Oxford education helped Imran?? As I keep saying, he is the dumbest of all Pakistani politicians who rose to the top. And the primary cause of his downfall was not only his dumbness but, in equal measures, his arrogance. If you know Urdu then watch this from Kamran Khan--who was, until now, a very much Imran admirer.

Does anyone understand who they are fighting against or jointly contest the election? PTI is almost gone. Imran Khan under virtual arrest, total media ban. His party is dissolved. But, seems this present parliament is afraid to ban PTI. Even they are under pressure to ban this party through parliament.
No need to ban PTI terrorists
People have rejected them

The recent polls like in azad Kashmir were won by PPPP on PTI (terrorists) seat followed by PMLN and third place PTI(terrorists)
INSHALLAH NEXT PM is the genius JTK who will bring prosperity to Pakistan

Inshallah overseas Pakistanis will have a good life in Pakistan by enjoying elite life status

Against public of Pakistan in favor of military

Anger is already down. This I am afraid is the end of IK's political career, at best he has 10-15 years of life left, next 5 will be spent under Hijrra in Chief, i.e. PM Billo Rani, followed by the wench of Amritsar, Nani Plastic and then perhaps the next generation of Sharifs, Junaid Safdar et al.

Pakistan is well on it's way to becoming India's colony and a socio-economic hellhole on par if not worse than sub-saharan Africa.
It will not become India’s colony as Indians are not stupid enough to embrace it as such.. the pdm and duffers will make it into a shithole which it is anyhow now, with no rule of law. As long as you either support army and pdm you have a peaceful life otherwise you are gone.
This is a civil/military dictatorship where any type of opposition to the corrupt status quo is not and will not be allowed.
Only options for freedom are either armed struggle or leave the country.. no in between path…

We're back to the 90s with GHQ actively involved in political engineering. So much for the clowns in ISPR popping up every week saying we are no longer involved in politics. Any one told them actions matter more than words?

Country needs to have its nuc weapons removed. Once that is done no one in the world would care about or entertain the duffers in khaki.. and people can rise up against them..
The country no longer requires its nuc weapons and missiles. Duffers cannot be trusted.. they have most probably been compromised already anyhow.. No use against India.. and a tel call from LU would be all that is required to have the Faujeets bend over anyhow..

Nuclear weapons, technology is our pride, no sane Pakistani will agree, we are proud to be the only Muslim nuclear power. Other than that everything is unfortunate and heartbreaking.

To be fair, so many PTI ideological workers were angry when IK allowed electables, corrupt in to his party, they all knew they will use him and dump him when bad time comes. IK on record stated, you vote for IK and not the electables, he knew people are not happy but still continued. I dont know much about Usman Buzdar but many people were not happy with him. Also many senior PTI leaders told IK that anti establishment narrative will not be good and he needs to calm down but he didnt listen, he kept on blaming the generals, whether true or not but he did do it and Pti fan boys went on social media and caused extreme hatred and name calling, people for over a year called for mutiny.

Imran Khan as a leader should have known the situation will go out of hand and he will be trapped, today he is trapped and his best pals made their own party IPP. What option does IK have now but to make a deal with the establishment, and the establishment is not willing to do it. Let the Oct 2023 elections come, we will all witness how the Pakistani awaam is the same as IPP electables, they will change sides. As I mentioned before, IK needs to be very careful. I would still vote for him than the other parties but he needs to get out of this situation, get all party people released, work towards stability in Pakistan and then over the years make a comeback.

Ideological workers?? Hahahaha!!
The only ideological workers remaining in Pakistan are probably in the likes of TLP, TTP and Jamaat e Islami or some other quasi-religious party. The last mainstream, large 'ideological' party was the PPP and it shed its fake 'socialism' after 1986 when Benazir Bhutto returned to Pakistan from her exile.

There is absolutely no difference between PTI and PMLN as far as 'ideology' is concerned--both are Punjab based parties even if Imran, catering to the Taliban/Pashtuns (using Imran's fake Pashtun credentials, mind you) fooled people in the KP to support him. PPP is slightly to the Left of the Center--but only slightly. They all want power for the sake of power!

Pinning too much hopes in PTI was a folly. If the ongoing rapid, spectacular disintegration of PTI doesn't tell you that PTI was never a 'party' but a cult built around a personality then what would it take to convince you? You PDF Imran fanbois blame Sindhi Haaris (peasants) for blindly supporting the PPP-- how are you--the educated lot--any better? You have lost your objectivity. You are also the Sindhi Haaris of Pakistan. You support an obvious idiot, the dumbest politician ever risen to the top in Pakistan. You looked for some 'surprise' or ray of hope in this megalomaniac's every word where none existed.

On the other hand, the two other political parties--the PPP and the PMLN--which destroyed each other's reputations, ably helped by the military, have matured enough to re-asses their responses in light of changing scenarios. They are the true inheritors of Pakistan's politics just like the Democratic and the Republican Parties or the BJP and Congress Parties in India are. The parties in those countries are also corrupt, and into bad things. But they DO deliver in a way. There is continuity and stability. Smooth transfers of power matter a lot. They are not 'revolutionaries' but they are still far better than the fake revolutionary, stupid cult that Imran Khan was.

Happy to inform you that Pakistani economy has sky rocketed under the combined rule of mature political parties.
Stability successfully brought by raping women &murdering our political rivals.
