PML-N responsible for the economic mess: ICST

yeah and also give away country to nawaz so that he can gift it to india no thank you

How about gift it back to the people of Pakistan?

Now why would they do that? WHY?

Someone has to catch the bull by its horns. Nawaz tried. And now the aam aadmi got a puppet PM. And someone has to point this out to the aam aadmi here as well.

You know, no one here has told me who initiated and pushed forward CPEC. Was it PML-N, PPP, army or all three? The people here do not even know how to answer that question.

Again, why even contemplate such a change? Pakistan runs just fine the way it is for those who control it. Why change any of it?

The army is going to have to start acting like an army and give up civilian business. They have too much power.

Finally you open up to your true desires, its not about Pakistan's economy, its all about weakening the Pakistan Army.

Pakistan isn't running fine. Even for those controlling it. My reply to Imad should expand on that.

You misunderstand. A "weaker" army in the context I'm referring to doesn't weaken their fighting capability at all. It weakens their hold on the system itself thereby transferring power to the civilians instead. And civilians can bring more flexibility to the system and take it to the next level.

We are attempting to do the same by privatising significant sectors of our own economy. Meaning, our govt is giving up their power to superior people in order to expand the reach of our own industry. So I'm not proposing anything different to Pakistan compared to what's already being implemented in India.

Here's an example:

When things are not working out, you have to change the status quo.

I would differ. It is heaven on Earth for those connected in the right places. I know it for a fact.

The system is already working in just about the perfect desired manner. Improving on such perfection is just not going to happen.

Yes, it works, because it belongs to the army. Most of what the army owns works properly. But it's all that really works in Pakistan. But now you have to make all of Pakistan work as smoothly or you are going to lose Pakistan itself very quickly.

Remember how people keep saying India's big population can be a boon or a curse depending on how quickly the economy grows or how many jobs are created. Can you imagine what it will be like for Pakistan, considering the lower GDP growth and higher population growth compared to India? Pakistan is headed towards a much more dangerous place than India is.

I dunno, it's up to you guys how you deal with this. But this isn't a "don't fix what ain't broke" situation. It's the broken democracy that needs fixing. And this 'well-functioning' Military Inc. is a part of that broken system.

If we agree that the Army controls most of what is important in Pakistan, then we can conclude that most of what is important in Pakistan works properly. Hence, no need to change anything.

And that's exactly why the OP should be questioned.
