Fuel subsidy already expired PMLN extended it
Dont know why they are not ending it
Why would they want to commit suicide as a party?

Well they knew this at timw of topplong the govermentWhy would they want to commit suicide as a party?
Gsp+ status is not enoughI'm fairly certain that US - Pakistan diplomatic relations will be back to normal gear - as a major Non NATO ally. Pakistan's finance minister has already started conversations with Biden administration (Blinken).
It is also likely that Pakistan will continue with GSP+ status in EU beyond 2024. What more would you like?
I have a more interesting question. Why do you always misspell Bangladesh?Gsp+ status is not enough
Countries like bengaldesh have it anyway
Its effect is few billion dollars of advantage nothing major
Could also be a situation where he saw the ground reality and the entire family decided to basically loot and scoot in the time they may have. Leaving it to the PPP to do a round robin. That is terrible for Pakistan's exchequer. People may appreciate the leeway in short term, but this will not let PLM-N keep the finances afloat till next election. I'm surprised to hear that Shahbaz would extend the subsidy. He seemed like a no nonsense guy.
Some Sri Lankan commentators were saying that Sri Lanka was too big to fail and therefore its economy will not collapse. I never thought they were right. Sri Lanka was absolutely a small country that the world can forget about. But Pakistan is indeed TOO BIG TO FAIL. It is not just the US, but also the Chinese who have bet their left nut on Pakistan. China wants to seen as a big power. The hallmark of big power is that they should be able to economically support smaller countries that are allied with them. US keeps many allies afloat and hence it is the super power. Big power status is won with the wallet. So for China to keep its ambition, it must absolutely keep Pakistan stable. It is also necessary for China to keep its own $ investments in Pakistan viable. As you've pointed out, US will also help Pakistan for its own benefits. I cannot think of any other country that is privy to the affections of both big powers of the world todayCould also be a situation where he saw the ground reality and the entire family decided to basically loot and scoot in the time they may have. I almost could(and almost being operative) say a hyperbole is as if a collapse of Pakistan may be imminent but the US wont make the mistake it did with Afghanistan or Iraq in terms of leaving the military stranded knowing they can hold everything together by a bare thread.
There will be severe hardship on the middle class who may flee enmasse wherever they can but the elite and poor really dont see a status change. Call it paralysis by simply overwhelming the population by soo many different disasters that the fall to the very basics of the maslow pyramid.
So maybe a ISIS type insurgency takes hold which the Pak Military fights on different fronts and Pakistan is “neutral” to India for all intents and purposes.
This will have no negative impacts on local Indian politics and the occasional Balakot may happen but with no Pakistani retaliation.
- bear in mind that China was relying on this “border” to be fairly secure from US footprint so this would be a huge win for .

As for the rest of what you've written, I'll chalk it up to the usual doom and gloom pessimism that I've seen from your other posts here. Pakistan has room to recover and it remains to be seen if the PDM makes the required hard choices for fiscal stability.
Pakistanis start paying income taxes. No loans from IMF, UAE, Saudi or China.PLM - N has to quickly reverse the fuel subsidy put in place by PTI. Then move to IMF to complete the loan program just as PTI wanted to.
This will help with the crisis in short term.
Americans pressured India to stop importing oil from Iran in 2018 and Indians had to give in.
Americans are putting pressure on European countries to stop importing oil and gas from Russia in the present. European countries are working on this issue but Russia cannot be cut off overnight. But cut off will happen eventually.
Why are WE assuming that only Pakistan is under pressure? Multiple countries are.
Imran Khan should do his homework and not try to sell unrealistic expectations to masses. Global Order is no longer super-friendly and cuddly. WE have no choice but to adjust to pressure. Khan should have a plan for how to move things forward should he get another term.
Those who are in power - should focus on solutions. These people should pay heed to IMF and counter-pressure Americans to provide relief. Let us see what these people can pull off.
Lol... I doubt it. The austerity measures IMF will impose are going to have a significant detrimental ripple effect. The imbalances new revenue generation, imports/exports, and debt repayments coupled with the global energy crisis is going to cripple Pakistan to a Sri Lanka type meltdown.PLM - N has to quickly reverse the fuel subsidy put in place by PTI. Then move to IMF to complete the loan program just as PTI wanted to.

This idea of quickly improving tax base and GDP to tax ratio is utopian. I've seen many Indians cry about this as well. It is not so easy.Pakistanis start paying income taxes. No loans from IMF, UAE, Saudi or China.
