They're politicians, lying is the core of their trade. If you want honest leaders implement the rule of Shariah and appoint a Caliph.

I'd be fine with the lying if he wasn't flaunted around as saadiq and his whole politics wasn't based on Riasat e Medina.

I don't think i trust anyone to implement Shariah in this day and age. We either get extremists like talibans whose implementation of Sharia is farthest from Islam or some other crazies.

Democracy is fine, just please build strong free and fair judiciary and no crook can ever exploit it. The root of all evil is a judiciary that's hostage.
