PM VOWS TO DEVELOP BALOCHISTAN’S COASTAL AREAS FOR TOURISM

LASBELA: Prime Minister Imran Khan announced on Tuesday that his government would develop the coastal areas of Balochistan to promote tourism.

The prime minister, who arrived in the port city on a day-long visit today, traveled to Lasbela. He inaugurated a tree plantation campaign at Sonmiani Beach.

Addressing a gathering here, he said people of Muslim countries would travel to Europe for tourism but they have stopped going there due to Islamophobia and instead visit Pakistan.

Noting that there is a need to improve the living standards of locals, PM Khan said it is up to the government to take steps in this regard. Balochistan legged behind due to the federal government paying no attention to the province, he pointed out.

He lamented that the people who got elected from Balochistan areas didn’t even focus on the province’s uplift.

We have decided to take Balochistan forward as its development would lead to Pakistan’s development, the prime minister avowed, adding the province had never been given Rs1 trillion worth of funds for uplift schemes before.

He said he was lucky that he came here to visit the beautiful city.

Yeah, about that... has our prime minister been checking the news? The security and protocol he receives in his visits to Balochistan are there for a reason.

While the people under Federal govt are being butchered day and night without a respite, honorable PM is dreaming of making tourist spots in restive areas where LEAs are being kidnapped in day light. Amazing !

Yes he has. That doesn't mean you stop development. In fact along with fighting insurgency through operations one thing which can be more affective then that is development in Baluchistan. That includes developing coastal areas so people get jobs and groups like BLA, BRA, TTP and others don't get new recruits. Lack of development in Baluchistan is one of the biggest selling point Baluch insurgents. So how about you learn how nations fight insurgency through a multi prong approach.

Frankly speaking

>Gwadar is not developed enough
>It's beaches are too raw and no facilities exist which can be comparable to world class

The Alternate destination
> Karachi is a dumpster
> Lahore is a heat oven not drastically better then Karachi

Tourist have alternate destinations
> Srilanka
> Maldives
> Far East Asia

Security will only improve with development. we need two to three cities on coastal areas alongside some security I.e. Navy or Air force specific areas. than you will be able to develop a security system. otherwise it Will always remain unsecured.

I understand the point about giving jobs, but why do so towards something that won't be profitable in the current political landscape? Hell, forget international tourists, most Pakistanis wouldn't want to go there considering the massive amount of kidnappings of LEAs and civilians, not to mention the countless attacks. If you have to give jobs really, try to be more creative.

Pehlai BLA ko to khatam kar lo chacha

You couldn't send aircover in a terrorist attack that lasted for 4 hours aur in ko tourism develop karna hai us province main

Batain karwa lo is admi sai bas

Went to Ormara Pasni and Gwadar last year major land infront of the beach area has been demarcated by NLC FWO Airforce and Navy

Visit Sonmiani beach you will see miles long boundary wall of Pakistan Army.

Majority of the Prime land is already under our beloved armed forces good luck with the development of coastal areas
