As an overseas Pakistani (somehow that makes me less of a Pakistani) to some here, I will reiterate that Pakistan needs to hedge it bets and stick with closer cooperation within the ASEAN nations, this constant toing and froing shows that Pakistan is an unreliable partner for investment and cooperation. There are many fields Pakistan can benefit from by cooperating with Malaysia, Indonesia and China.

Everyone knows this, the patwaris, even the neutrals...but more important fact is cooperation with ASEAN countries doesn't protect the interests of the neutrals nor does it enriches them or their progeny...so they growl at the feet of Americans and their local policemen, i.e. the Indians.
