Didn't you say that it was natural? How was that comment related to the topic? Anyway, the quota is being used to abuse and usurp the rights of ordinary citizens. The majority has become second class citizens. If that's not abuse of power nothing is.

This is an impossible problem for BAL and it will cost them hugely.
No government can survive by going to war with its own civil service and judiciary. The entire administration is manned by quota beneficiaries - regardless of party allegiance, they are united on this subject.
The Govt has clearly calculated that it is easier to defeat quota activists than the civil service. So it will keep pushing down protests until the elections.
Obviously not right, but this is the reality. I do also believe that AL will chip away at this issue over the years, quota reform is necessary but looks like it will have to be phased in.
