I have talked on this matter a lot.....and I have said this earlier too....TCC (in reality Anto & Barrick) does not want to leave and they want a negotiated settlement. They have been persistent in this demand. They have gotten peanuts in damages against what the mine will give. It is up to the GOP to get better terms. There needs to be SC input to ensure the contract awarded has been done transparently.

Good but also should find out the root cause of incompetence in international tribunals. Left right and center, Pakistan has been losing one case after other. Is there any limit to our incompetence?

Btw, those responsible for this mess with mining company should be thrown in jail and their entire wealth should be thrown into national treasury.

There is some semblance of truth in this. But we have parliamentary system in Pakistan. IK can't import people from Swden, Norway or Swiss to form his government. The facts as you pointed are ugly but do you know of any magic wand that will give us a alternative? You thin IK can call the CCP from China to help him rule Pakistan? Forget IK even past military dictatorships were forced to live with and pick from the dirty dozen.

This is sad reality that our people have made.

IK is a pragmatist I just wish he was more pragmatic earlier in the 2000s maybe the situation of the country would be slightly different
