Raising issues in UN is not the way to make progress towards resolving issues between our two countries.

I am prepared to engage in a serious bilateral dialogue with Pakistan in a peaceful atmosphere, without the shadow of terrorism.

In a world we are not united as nations.

Terrorism is taking new shape and new name.

We should think why despite the UN, we are making so many 'G' forums

PM says it is important to expand the UN Security Council

We should put aside our differences and mount a concerted effort to combat terrorism. I urge you to adopt the Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism

When we craft agreements on international trade we should accommodate each other's concerns and interests

India is going through drastic changes economically and socially.

India sees world as a global family

India home to 1/6th world's population

India has always championed the cause of justice and global prosperity

Peace and security essential for economic growth.

No country big or small for is free from terror

We believe in multilateralism.

It's my government's priority to advance cooperation with neighbours

very well and balanced speech and he covers all most all issues ..so i admit it was a great speech on below points..

1. Speech was not Pakistan centric but in 2 min he clearly conveyed his message to pakistan in right manner and K issue can be solve only through bilateral talk.

2. he addressed the basic issues like poverty, sanitation and electricity.

3. indirectly he criticized UN also for having the same old structure despite of so many changes world have seen from 20th century to 21st century and demand for reform it..means India should be the permanent member of UN Security Council.

4. G-ALL on of the most valuable part of his speech.

5. he started from region and cover almost every thing from Africa, Afghanistan to Latin America.

6. Indirectly pointed to South China sea..when he said : "Samandar jo jodne ka kaam karta tha..aaj vahan takrav hai..."

7. HE successfully portrayed india's image, culture and spiritual things.

8. No Country can dictate the world.....pretty clear message to whom.

9. he talked about cyber world and globalization means every country wants globalization but it should not be imposed on it on other's terms.

10. One of the most important part ..that he demanded for comprehensive convention on international terrorism.
11. still get time to speak about Yoga.

Overall speech is with lots of reforms he wants.

@Star Wars : can we have a poll here for indians that on scale of 10 how many points they would give to speech and why???

I liked the way he touched upon the Kashmir issue .

He highlighted the fact that we had offered Pakistan help for the flood in the region across LOC ( without actually talking about Pakistan Occupied Kashmir ...

It was masterstroke to give fitting reply to Pakistan's ploy to rake up Kashmir issue by taking up humanitarian issue associated with it and in much more mature fashion ...

. . . . .
Dehshatgard Modi ended his speech by saying Namaste but not Khuda Haafiz is a clear proof that he is communal, he hate Muslims and was involved in killing 20000000000000000000000 peaceful Muslims in Gujarat.
And that gave an OUCH Moment !

To? We know !
