This is a very good step. The pm continuously needs to meet them an remove their doubts. Gentlemen we cannot screw this up like this. However khattak needs to play politics and diplomacy as well. Both sides need to concede grounds to gain grounds. Rigidness will destroy this project. Flexibility must be key here. Meet them again and again and if the route being made first or western route being focused is due to Chinese concerns then these concerns need to be told to them so that they can themselves meet the Chinese to remove them.

Remember the ACE priority is Pakistan. Destroying and stopping CPEC is not the option no matter what. I cant believe I am saying but despite being in a very anti political state of mind for some days I sincerely hope that politicians would actually move towards solving this as soon as possible...

What has Khattak asked that is so blasphemous in your books? The only thing he has asked for the Federal Government to provide him with a hard copy of all the agreements that have been signed with the Chinese, and provide a detailed plan of how the project will be executed. Now according to you, transparency with a project of this importance is blasphemous, so essentially you have not left much room for an argument.

Second, before accusing someone of playing the race card, why don't you look at the facts? Why did Nawaz Sharif take his brother on a tour to China with him to discuss CPEC and not the CM's of other Provinces? why is the Federal Government conducting all these deals in secret without the consent of all the Provincial Government's except Punjab off course?

My opinion about khattak is multi faceted and i believe is true...this is regardless of his stance on cpec

According to govt, khattak was invited to go to beijing but he was busy dancing and at that time they were trying to throw out a legally elected pm , so he refused to go

The western route distance is about 2000 KM from kashghar to Gawadar. Kashghar to Hongkong or pacific ocean distance is about 3700 KM. This is the shortest route to China.

NS also ask khattak to go, it was khattak who decided to stay instead of getting something out of cpec for kpk people. Still they got plenty of the projects with so much ignorant behavior. He should be thank full and shame full on his previous behaviour. But

You guys failed to realise anything happen to CPEC will impact Pakistan not punjab. And what punjab is getting out of this project. Power projects mainly lies in sindh and Balochistan. Punjab already have motorway so nothing going to build in punjab but Balochistan sindh and balliStan. .
