PM Imran says Pakistan to make ‘independent decisions’ now

The thread title is just

Busted economy, idiotic decision-making, adhoc-ism instead of prudent policy-making, & this guy with a hyper-inflated ego thinks that Pakistan can make independent decisions... Wallahi I do not know what to say.

To be able to make independent decisions:

1. Improve governance; not just talk.
2. Improve decision-making; not just talk.
3. Stop airing your wishes & think that you are making policies.
4. Inspire confidence, not ridicule. Let your actions speak, not your blabbering tongue.
5. Surround yourself with people who know how to run a country (economy, governance, policy-making, foreign relations, political advisors) instead of psychophants, special interests, people with dual loyalties, & other assorted dumbasses.
6. Stop taking dictation from generals even though they installed you. That fact that you are the PM means more (much more) than the fact that you are beholden to them. Be their master, not slave.
7. Build bridges with your neighbors - yes neighbors, including India.
8. Engage politicians positively. They are more important than generals.
9. Spend more on improving HDI. See #8, that would help formulate policy for longer term.

How do you "build bridges" with those that call for the death and destruction of your nation and people?..........do you even know what you are talking about?............. :disagree:

just get out debt and have a savings account.

Not as long as you have Nawaz Sharif and Zardari as leaders.

These words sound great from someone who doesn't support corrupt and convicted leaders.

Your leader Nawaz Sharif is hiding in London and here you are making speeches like Modi.

Blah blah.. on PDF. You served him tea and released him the next day. lol.

You remember your army chiefs legs shaking as vouched by your former speaker. Enough said. Now shuu pest.

Worst still, 7× bigger india was able to do NOTHING about having their fighter jet shot down by Pakistan despite having the full backing of the West and Russia..................even till today india has nightmares at the thought of facing the PAF, sanghis/gangus are too scared to even mention PAF in public..........

Most Pakistani's live in a la la land, they think 70 years of cancer would be cured in 3 years and the patient would beat Usain Bolt in the 100-meter sprint.
Patience, Persistence, and Perseverance. Gold does not become gold without going through fire pit.

Irony coming from someone whose leaders said they’d be a superpower now.
If anyone blows their trumpet 24 hours a day it’s you lot.
lol. India is definitely not a pushover like yours.

It is convenient to paint the 'other' as a savage brute. Its easier that way. However do note that the other side does the same. So what should mature people do? Let the pea-brains have their way? There are sane people in every society. Even the leaders of the pea-brain brigades are sentient enough to know what's what. One needs to engage the other side intelligently & with a bit of imagination & innovative thinking. Even if you find this tough to follow, do understand the there are no winners in this zero-sum game & Pakistan stands to gain more than the other side if & when relations normalize. One could at least not label sane people as traitors - which has happened whenever there was an effort to improve relations.

I think what he means is the deep state took a gamble on giving full support to Taliban and hopefully it pays off. I am sure all the other agencies wouldn't touch them with a barge pole so tried to prop up Northern Alliance who are also child molesting warlords. Great bunch of people aren't they. Brothers as some would call it. Not my f**king brother, more like a retarded cousin.
