Since the letter has already been shared with the Establishment, question must be asked of the fauji leadership about their neutrality and letting IK fight a battle alone when it is clearly a national security issue. I shudder at the thought that if this letter really is real, this silence from the army can only mean it is in with the international/western establishment.

This is my observation that army is not willing after seeing the threats, in fact the opposite.

Remember just a few days ago Shahbaz sharif said ' kia zarorat thi absolutely not kehnay ki'.
Maryam nawaz also said 'no confidence army kay bhagair nahi ati'.

Fun fact is Islamabad marriot where PPP were hiding MNA ( on the top floor) after sindh House fiasco, lower floors were reserved by the army for their convocation something and security was taken up by them.

There's a way to do things without drawing attention and cauign more harm in future. Pakistan is full of traitors and we still have security issues. There is a great need to tread carefully. Don't have the luxury of being direct / straightforward

No I do not. You have to ask though why was this allowed to table in the first place and why wasn't MQM, BAP and Q thorough in their refusal to support the PDM front up. Given how deeply entrenched the military is in Pakistani politics, these politicians dont fart without a nod from the Chief himself.

PDM 2 months ago was nothing more than a dead buried organisation 50ft underground. Out of nowhere they all sprung into action and tabled the NCM. Surely something changed in Pindi that gave them the go ahead, gathered all of these bickering assholes, united and got the thing moving. All fingers point to the army honestly. I would love to believe that the army wants to concede power to IK but ground realities suggest otherwise. Army is threatened by IK. IK eventually will make a move on these DHAs, fauji businesses etc and the army cant let that happen. For all its talk of neutrality, it wishes to stay the king maker.

Prime Minister Imran Khan is ready to share a letter — that he claimed during the PTI's March 27 rally contained evidence of a "foreign-funded conspiracy" to topple his government — with Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial, federal minister Asad Umar said on Tuesday.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad alongside Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Minister for Planning and Development Umar said he had seen the letter himself, adding that if someone had doubts, the "prime minister is ready ... he thought we can share with the chief justice of the Supreme Court."

"Obviously, it is the highest office of justice in Pakistan, it is a huge position that has respect in this country. Personally too, the chief justice has a very good reputation. The prime minister said that on the nation's behalf, if necessary, and for the people's satisfaction, he is ready to present the letter to the chief justice of the Supreme Court."

The minister said the letter was dated prior to the tabling of the no-confidence motion in the National Assembly.


"This is a very concerning thing and it is important because this letter clearly mentions the no-confidence resolution. There is no ambiguity that the no-confidence motion is being talked about."

This letter isn't making any sense.

Foreign office received this letter, so it was addressed to FM? If this is the case then how is it some concrete evidence of foreign interference? Or did some friendly country inform foreign office about this via letter?
