PM Imran live address to the nation on banned TLP issue

All terrorists have 'their' sides of the story and their own versions of events. But when riots and ransacking spills into the lives of common people, the Government has to step in and step in heavy. Half hearted measures are useless and lead to further insanity.

The leader of TLP was arrested to pre-empt their march towards the capital and expected dharna. We have listened to the unreasonable and illogical demands of TLP. Pakistan cannot survive in isolation but that is precisely what these fanatics want to drive us into. They want Pakistan to take up arms against the US, the EU and the entire world basically.

So, according to you, these citizens of the first world, who are French citizens living in France and engaging in violent protests, are unreasonable, terrorists, whose side of the story is not worth hearing?

It is evident that you are descending down to immoral lows and using terrorism as an excuse to vent the real hatred that is hiding inside your heart against Islam and Muslims whom you consider backwards, uneducated, and illiterate, and not worthy of being given the respect of human beings.

I just wanted to refute the claim that the government reneged on its promise to expel the French ambassador. That is not what they promised.

The fact is that the government is trying to handle the situation as best as it can, given the huge amount of constraints they are under. One wrong move, and the economy could tank. Inflation would really get out of hand, unemployment will go even higher, and any hopes of an economic recovery will vanish.

To answer your question, clearly the government thought they could convince a majority of the Parliament against severing diplomatic ties with France (and incur the wrath of the EU, and possibly other countries).

They believed they could successfully argue that the consequences of such a move would be far more harmful to those same ashiqin e rasool than any French ambassador sitting in Islamabad.

They wouldn't have signed the document, if they did not believe that they could get the majority of MNAs to agree with their position.

I hear you and I am not saying what you said is wrong. I also second you that Govt didnt promised to expel French ambassador, rather it was subjective. Subject to the approval from the Parliament, however, TLP's counter argument is that what is taking Govt so long to take this matter in the Parliament? What Govt is waiting for? Why this matter isnt already on the table in Parliament for discussion? Nobody is giving any expiation to these questions.

TLP, Govt and we all know as well that once this resolution is thrown at the table in Parliament, then it would be approve with majority and then it will be end of the road for Govt. TLP was trying to push Govt against the wall to expel French ambassador, which is of no use, as I already elaborated in my post # 6.

I doubt that will be supported. Because PMLn and PPP won't support such extreme measures and don't want to take blame. Look at their interviews, no one is talking about expelling the French ambassador. People have a very short memory of when PMLn abolish the clause of " khatem e nabowat " clause in parliament forms and JUIF approved the docs.
Zardari and Nawaz both have a foreign financial paradise.

Yes, Govt have signed some kind of doc/contract with them TWICE (that they will expel French ambassador from the country).
With a condition: approval from parliament.
I googled the two agreements.

The first one says, "hukoomat France ke safeer ko do ya teen mah ke arse ke andar Parliament se faisla sazi ke zarye mulk badr kare gi".

The second one says, "muahide ki shiqon ko 20 April 2021 tak Parliament men paish kar diya jaiga, awr faisle Parliament ki manzoori se te paenge".

Images of the agreements below. In both cases, it says that Parliament would have to approve.

Opposition, lifafas are deliberately omitting "approval from parliament" part.

If we want to hurt the west the way they hurt our sentiments,we have to do that by trade/economy.
Since we are economicall so weak, FATF and debt trapped, no point in destroying our own country for it.
However something has to be done, a message has to be sent to the west. Use OIC or some other muslim organization platform. Causing the country to be on brink of civil war is “jahilana” approach.

Police also did wrong stuff bahi most of us are one sided if we see both sides we know that wrong was done from both sides
TLP terrorists attacked police station, abducted police officers. And you are blaming police for protecting themselves from these terrorists?
Our plight is that none of our leaders are dependable. On the one hand we have TLP, but on the other hand we have Imran Khan whose government is holding talks with India about trade without mentioning 370 anywhere, but his foreign ministry gives statements about Kashmir being central to talks. He is a hypocrite, U-turning undependable man, who would make Pakistan an irreligious state if he had the power to do so. New production factories of alcohol are being created in his government, swinery is being celebrated and dance parties featuring Satan are being held. He is not the type of person who leads Islam and Muslims to greatness.
Yeah only Maulana Pen Di Siri or Maulana Diesel can lead the nation to progress. Imran Khan is Yehudi agent.
Whatever the wording, the basic issue here is that religious extremism is being allowed to set the legislative agenda for the parliament, which speaks volumes about the State having forfeited its authority to pressure groups.
There is nothing wrong in discussing TLP demands in parliament. Majority already disagree with their BS demands.

Hypocrite just like every one else Nawaz, Zardari, Musharaf and all other gernailz as well who looted this country.
Never tried to make this country True Islamic Country, what Dr. Allama Iqbal and Qaid e Azam dreamed of and struggled for.
Just a lip service from last 70+ years since Liaqat Ali was killed.

So few question in answer to your post bro.

1) Why Govt hasnt taken this up into the Parliament yet, whats stopping them?

2) Do you really this that any parliamentarian will object or raise his/her voice against this matter? They have to live in Pakistan, so obviously it would've been passed with no objection.

3) And hypnotically speaking, once it has been approved from the parliament then what option(s) would be left for Govt for not expelling France's ambassador from Pakistan? Anybody could see it coming, therefore Govt wanted to resolve it before it reaches to the dead end.
PM has said in speech today that govt was ready to discuss the matter before 20 April deadline in parliament. But Labbaik ran away from negotiations after calling for another Dharna in case parliament doesn't approve their demands. That's why govt arrested Pen Di Siri Maulvi.

Not expelling French ambassador on terrorist TLP demands is hypocrite? 🤪

IK is a practical fellow..he knows pak cant do anything to india with regards to kashmir and pak should simply accept the status quo for paks good...he truly wants pak to develop..otherwise he could easily talk some jingoistic stuff against india..he knows for pak to develop having good relations with india is very important...
BD kept its religious fanatics in control n having friendly relations with ind and is on the path of development.

In that case it would've been ideal opportunity for further expose them infront of the country.

And contrary, Govt has the majority, so it would've approved any such resolution from parliament anyways and then what?

And thats why I dont like their action plan and intension "Niyat".

Thisss. The agreement was that PTI will raise this issue with Parliament and will try to reach out a mutual consensus. Now opposition is deliberately blaming it on PTI, doing petty politics. PTI did not went back on their promise to bring this issue to parliament.

And expelling the French ambassador isn't going to push France to criminalize caricatures, instead you will see more muslimphobes from other countries will draw such caricatures. This isn't an issue of economics but also of common sense.

.
How do you justify arrest of key leaders with rioting? Govt filed FIR against the leaders so arrests was legal. Were riots legal?

TLP supporters and leaders were jumping guns on Govt ahead of time and didnt even bother for deadline to finish. Nobody can and should try to justify their "Jahalat".

The more I look into this matter, the more I am convinced that its more political then religious movement.
