In Pakistan the establishment and courts are able to support their chosen government and get some work done but in the US the politics is never ending. Even now the govt functioning is stopped due to finances.

The Turkish government tried for years to gain influence in Afghanistan. They wanted to be an independent power in the game for Afghanistan's future but it did not work out.

Now, they're starting to support Pakistan's role almost unconditionally. Furthermore, their position on American troops in Afghanistan is identical to Pakistan's. Ankara, too, is demanding a complete withdraw of Nato forces from Afghanistan - even though we're are Nato.

My prediction is that IK's Pakistan and Turkey will focus primarily on Afghanistan. For instance, in one talk show a Turkish diplomat said that Pakistan needs to avoid a second India on their West side and that both countries are working on this issue.
