Sc was dead upon asking about floor crossing

I know the higher courts of Pakistan have made many historic blunders, going all the way back to the Justice Muneer Case, which the legal and political community in Pakistan still talk about. But in case of the recent Floor Crossing, the court had correctly observed that any MNA crossing the party line, while allowed to vote, would be disqualified and face severe repercussions.
Problem for PTI was... even if all of PTI MNAs remained with PTI, the allies like MQM and other had ditched PTI and that was enough. By the time Imran Khan realized that, the NCV had become a Constitutional requirement from which there was no going around.

The Supreme Court reserved its verdict on a suo motu case concerning the legality of the deputy speaker's ruling and the subsequent dissolution of the NA by the president on the PM's advice.

This is akin to giving a second NRO to the corrupts in opposition as this will be validated by the SC, which is validated by the Estab.

This is just the beginning of a long battle, physical independence is not ideological independence which is still a dream.

But the fact that there is clear separation, the battle lines being drawn augurs well in future.

It's not that easy to threw away the yolk of imperialism and Ghulami.

Possibility of such a verdict is high. Do know that that will be yet another 'Doctrine of Necessity' verdict, adding to such in Pakistan's history but there will be a 'next time' when PTI would be where the opposition is currently...
