Now Pakistan only has to wait to see how long the USA can last in Afghanistan. It has been 17 years, another 17 is not a big deal.

Waiting is in India's favour. The disparity is rapidly increasing due to - higher rate of GDP growth on a higher base, rising incomes and tax revenues, population size difference. No doubt your improving too, but a lower rate, on a lower base(you can check the numbers).
