No one's calling for violence. This is bigger than IK. If Pakistan wants the 3 stooges to come to power again fine, educated people who don't want anything further to do with this country, will leave just like the brain drain / exodus from Karachi and people here can sell their votes and future over a plate of biryani.
Look. I was speaking with my brother in Karachi yesterday. We are Urdu Speakers. Brother said he'd lose all respect for Pakistan if Imran Khan is toppled. I disagreed with him and said that the opposition will not last long in power even IF they manage to grab power and so one must be careful in handling this situation.
Imran Khan should do a Jinnah style politics: Talk calmly about the corrupt elements trying to topple him and that despite that he will follow the constitution. He should not get the Establishment involved. And he should be careful about implicating Americans--he may well know the economic consequences of even a SWIFT ban--immediate and horrible!
Imran wins by losing. He holds his head high. Calmly followed established procedures and let the whole nation see who are the Lota politicians. His stature will rise to new heights. By calling for agitations/protests, which have the high chance to turn violent, he is risking his almost certain gains.
