PM Imran Khan Interview

ok interview but he is very weak ,he is a Pm and is so helpless against opposition , he should have put country on emergency and bring open trial article 6 and hang opposition. Also place referendum for presidential system.

Nope, he cant. I gathered from the interview, the establishment is being an asshole and they have put forward the options that suit them and obviously out of these 3, conducting the elections suits him best. He will announce it tomorrow hopefully. That dude meeting COAS today is clear message that the international and national establishment is on same page. Article 6 has never been invoked. IK is fighting opposition in front and establishment pressure behind the doors. This is BS. COAS has basically put the danda up IK's *** and told him bachu we are still in power tum mandate lay kr wapas aa jao aur is dafa zara aapay men rehna. simple.

PM office contacted establishment for mediation. What is the difference? PM office is headed by PM.
So PM office contacting the most powerful department of the government for the situation to get better is NRO. Sometimes I feel who jo IK ka saria hai an acha hi hai itna stiff hai.

Okay. This is too much, so lemme get this straight.
Our Establishment was giving PM Imran Khan these 3 options.. when what they should've been doing instead is digging into and assessing the threat from Amreeka, to his life and removal from office.
Bajwa Sahb... Ye kya hai?!

Also. General Faiz seems to be the only option right now because SC also sold themselves.

If he goes in the early elections now. There will be no EVMs, he will be fighting against ECP who are opposition stooges and it seems like the establishment just wanted to teach him a lesson so they won't interfere. I think dhandli is incoming....

I have noticed in life there are people who are always on the wrong side of history.

For that to happen, he'd need the backing of the military and that he clearly doesn't have...

Establishment wants to reset matters with US and for that to happen IK would have to removed from the scene...

Here is the interview in full, watch last 25 min and if you still believe establishment is not involved in this fiasco then you need some serious medical help...

My analysis:

The opposition outright rejected the fresh elections proposal because

a) They have IK by the scruff of the neck, and would want this political victory.

b) They know they aren't really popular right now with the people, and elections would hurt them. They would want to come in govt, make a sham budget which pleases the people at the expense of the country, get the USD/PKR rate down, and then wait for the people to forget this whole fiasco (which they definitely will). Then elections could be held. Ideally, the opposition would also want to hold out until the selection of the next army chief, but that is a long way away.

As for the foreign interference angle, there is no doubt that the ISI is responsible for protecting our country from such interferences. But, we need to note, an MNA meeting a foreign official, or going to an embassy in itself is no crime. Sure, why the heck would a US official meet Noor Alam Khan (jis ko halqay main koi nhn poochta tha), or Maryam (a convict), or Fazlu, but it isn't a crime.

Same goes with Nawaz Sharif.

Moreover, you need solid proof by way of audio or documentary evidence to be sure that they are colluding with another country. Now, of course no evidence is just going to fall on your lap, you have to work for it.

Another aspect to be careful about, is not to have any flimsy allegation. You do not want to make Nawaz Sharif another Bhutto, and approach this problem with dodgy evidence. Perhaps that is why the establishment and govt is holding back from going all out.

Just another observation.

Rana Sanaullah when asked about NS's meetings, said that "Main is ki tardeed nhn karta, magr aur baat nhn kar sakta, party nay roka hai".

When Kh Asif was asked about this, he didn't deny anything, just said that we cannot afford to anger the US.

No one is denying meetings or the allegations.
