Anyway, IK should float the option of exporting our champions Zardari, Fazlur Rehman, Bilawal, Mariam Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif to countries across the globe. Poor Imran Khan. I like him and his heart is in the right place. He’s also very educated (Oxford) and not stupid. But he’s very naive, living in an alternative universe.

The reality is that Pakistan has nothing to offer Russia. Pakistan’s economy is minuscule so there’s little trade potential.

He wants to emulate China. They have exports of $3.3 trillion. Pakistan: $27 billion. That’s 122 times bigger. China exports in 3 days what Pakistan exports in a year. I don’t see Pakistan on the path of being like China.

He thinks Modi is causing poverty in India. India’s exports are projected to be $650 billion. That’s 24 times Pakistan. India is progressing while Pakistan is sliding into a worse situation. It seems like Pakistan is stuck in ethnic and political hatred, poverty and economic stagnation.

He wants to bring justice when Karachi is collapsing in a horrendous crime wave. He could start with bring justice to Karachi.

He thinks that he can mediate between USA and China as if they care for what he has to say. A country with a pipsqueak economy is nothing but a joke for big powers.

If he wants to start economic development he needs stop obsessing about Modi and start with fixing Karachi so that economic development and exports get going.
