PM Imran Khan congratulates Narendra Modi on India election victory

After balakot strike on 23 March Modi too congratulated despite all the pressure.
I too have a very hard stance on kashmir but we simply cannot understand the importance of a conflict free neighbourhood. Nothing can be achieved without that.
it is ok, just because it is Imran Khan

Modi victory is going to be better for Pakistan , and I hope after modi yogi take his place . Imran khan is doing the right thing to play the good guy here cause that's what Indians did for decades , despite the hub of all terrorism in various parts of the world India played the good guy , now we will not just kick Indians in any skirmish but also slap them even harder , we did it when we release abhinundun as peace gesture. Modi will have to appease his crazy and fanatics hindutva and for that he will keep creating the Divide in India on religious grounds .

Good luck Mr modi , I hope you try more stupid things in your next five years .

It’s dumb and stupid to make a big deal out of a tweet. When a person get to that level, he will have no choice but to talk to people he doesn’t want to talk to or meet. By congratulating Modi, IK is showing that he is a bigger leader.
Some people need to grow up and smell the reality.....especially the paid media circus.

Modi is bad news for Pakistan

Zardari, Shahbaz sharif, Hamza and Maryam are more dangerous than modi. It’s bad news as long as they are not in jail.

Trust me...It is easy for Pakistan to deal with nationalistic BJP than scared Congress..Because BJP agenda of engagement with Pakistan is quite open..It is not ambigious..Pakistan has to slow down on Kashmir for a peace...
The basic psychology about Kashmir is that India may allow Kashmir people to win against India but India will not give a chance to Pakistan to take away Kashmir...

Not sure if feasible..Kashmir saw lot of violence..I hope new Gov should do something

There is very little to negotiate for resolution of the Kashmir issue as the Indian and Pakistani leadership, hostage to their own national rhetoric and perspectives, does not even understand the possible consequences of their actions....

And yes, it's relatively easier for Pakistan to deal with the nationalist and populist BJP which, unlike Congress, isn't much adept at diplomatic maneuvering.

Well you can say so ... I can understand this...
But reality is you cannot fight your neighbour forever. It is expected in all circles to once again start the relation after elections... So it is continuation of that..
Besides the biggest benefit a government in Islamabad can have by normalization of relation with India is a decreased or almost zero proxy terrorism.
We can argue the sincerity on both sides.
We can question the Modi intentions..
We can even see the histroy of last 70 years.
Everything above gives us a negative trend but irrespective of that we have to try and we need it more then they do...

Pm imran already helped modi in election by returning indian pilot within two days.finally he congratulated him.whatever we have done is against the interest of our country.we will realize our mistake later.

If NS does it, he is Modi's agent. If PMIK does it, he is being a master statesman.

(Or the reverse, depending on one's personal bias.)

How predictable. :D

Not surprising at all.

both get their hordes of zombies as well to Play out their defense.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday congratulated his Indian counterpart and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Narendra Modi on his victory in the country's elections.

In a message posted on his official Twitter account, the Pakistani prime minister said he was looking forward to working with Modi for "peace, progress and prosperity in South Asia".

AFP adds: Modi claimed victory on Thursday in India's general election, with his party headed for a landslide win to crush the Gandhi dynasty's comeback hopes.

With around half the 600 million votes cast counted, Election Commission data showed Modi's BJP winning 300 of India's 543 elected lower house seats, surpassing its 2014 victory and crushing the opposition Congress party's hopes of a comeback.

The BJP's main rivals Congress were on just 49 seats, with Rahul Gandhi – the great-grandson, grandson and son of three premiers – in danger of a humiliating loss in the seat held by India's once-mighty political dynasty for generations.

"Together we grow. Together we prosper. Together we will build a strong and inclusive India. India wins yet again!," Modi tweeted as the outcome of the world´s biggest election became clear.

The preliminary count predicts a commanding majority in the lower house for the BJP and its allies, who are on course for almost 50 additional seats.

They will still lack a majority in the upper house, however, putting a brake on Modi's legislative agenda.

Modi, a former cadre in the militaristic hardline Hindu group Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and chief minister of Gujurat in 2002 when riots killed more than 1,000 people, most of them Muslims, is also seen as divisive.

Lynchings of Muslims and low-caste Dalits for eating beef and slaughtering and trading in cattle have risen, adding to anxiety among India's 170-million-strong Muslim population.

Under Modi several cities with names rooted in India's Islamic Mughal past have been re-named, while some school textbooks have been changed to downplay Muslims' contributions to India.
Good statement ik
