PM Imran Gives A Befitting Reply To President Trump’s Statement

Proper shut up call. This is how the real leaders defend their nation's interests and dignity.

However, can't believe yanks are still not paying a penny since 9/11 for ALOCs/GLOCs.
lol the real leader would instantly stop support (land & air routes) not blabbering on twitter to come down to Trump level.

That's the official narrative, and not the real reason.

Oh yeah, the "real" reason becomes apparent when one puts on a tinfoil hat, right? :D

If this is the case, can the consumers be tracked down and forced to pay. The nation can't afford to subsidize at least those that can afford to pay. For those that can't we need to find ways to provide electricity at a rate and in enough amount that they can afford.

What if those who have the power to track down the defaulters are themselves the defaulters?

Yes and those thousands of deaths were created by your mother Zion, not by some little arabs trained in the caves.
The European commission and even the engineers associations of USA have rejected the official reports that the WTC could collapse the way it did without a planned and structured demolition through demolition charges present at the base of things.

I'm pretty sure you are one of those low IQ folk living in America who even believes the Pearl Harbor was done by the Japs and was not a false flag.

Like I said, get some intellect going mate and step out of your self inflicted imprisonment of your mind.
Try and think freely for once, and yes that happens when you are able to think with images that do not originate from memory....try it some time...

Can I borrow your tinfoil hat, please? :D

Rants are replied with solid logic and reasons. No need to go beyond that unless there is a strong compulsion. There are elements within America and Afghanistan and ofcourse India who are against any peace deal, wants to prolong this conflict. This is not in our interest. we need America out from Afghansitan.

What if those who have the power to track down the defaulters are themselves the defaulters?

If this issue is as serious an issue as it is stated, then Imran Khan will have to appoint a crack team of Loyal investigators (From NAB; non-military, non-partisan) to oversea a survey of who or what uses the most electricity and make sure they are paying their fair share. Start from the Top and find the largest defaulters and make an example of them. Do this for the next 4 and a half years of the PTI Government and hopefully we will make some progress. This should be done with some urgency because the increased cost of electricity increases the cost of textile factory products and has a negative effect on Pakistani exports and their ability to remain competitive.

    • Our tribal areas were devastated & millions of ppl uprooted from their homes. The war drastically impacted lives of ordinary Pakistanis.
    • Pak continues to provide free lines of ground & air communications(GLOCs/ALOCs).Can Mr Trumpname another ally that gave such sacrifices?

“Instead of making Pakistan a scapegoat for their failures, the US should do a serious assessment of why, despite 140000 NATO troops plus 250,000 Afghan troops & reportedly $1 trillion spent on war in Afghanistan, the Taliban today are stronger than before,” the prime minister further said.

US President Donald Trump while speaking to Fox news' Chris Wallace on Sunday had alleged that Pakistan does “not do a damn thing” for the US and accused it of helping Osama bin Laden hide in the country.

"You know, living – think of this – living in Pakistan, beautifully in Pakistan in what I guess they considered a nice mansion, I don’t know, I’ve seen nicer," Trump said, referring to bin Laden and his former compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The compound was demolished shortly after United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group forces killed bin Laden there in a late-night helicopter raid in 2011.

"But living in Pakistan right next to the military academy, everybody in Pakistan knew he was there," he added. "And we give Pakistan $1.3 billion a year . ... [bin Laden] lived in Pakistan, we’re supporting Pakistan, we’re giving them $1.3 billion a year -- which we don’t give them anymore, by the way. I ended it because they don’t do anything for us, they don’t do a damn thing for us," the US president said.

Please tell me if a debt of over 1.2 Trillion (with a T) PKR - and rising - is a serious issue or not? As far as I am aware the present government has not taken any specific steps in this regard yet, but I do know that this is one of the major points being discussed with the IMF.

Clearly it is a serious issue, to the point where parts of our own population have, piece by piece, put us in a position that we need to seek another bailout from not only the IMF, but from all our partners around the world in the hopes of just stabilizing.

Having read the reports of what reforms the IMF has recommended to Pakistan over the years; increasing the tax base was a big part of it. While trust has to be built for people to pay taxes to get social services, all parts of our population need to pay their fair share of their consumption at market rates. be it consumption of electricity, water, or fuel, the government can no longer invest in profit making ventures and aim for growth while being weighed down by subsidizing these defaulters; be they smaller electricity thieves or failing enterprises like PIA.

Its time for Imran Khan to out the NAB on this issue.

Pakistan needs serious and deep changes in just about every major area, whether the IMF prescribes them or not. The main problem is there has been no serious national drive to make any effective changes. May be it will change with PMIK. May be it still won't and things will continue to deteriorate. It is still too early to say.
