First Caliphate of Islam was not a family rule. Here is your example

Well he was the father-in-law of the prophet through Aisha (PBUH). The second Caliph was also the father-in-law of the prophet through Hafsa bint Umer . The Third Caliph was the son-in-law of the prophet ( actually he had married 2 of the prophet's daughters), the Fourth Caliph was the cousin and also son-in-law of the prophet.

They were his relatives. First Caliphate was not a family rule.

Correct they were all the relatives of the Prophet, but our prophet didn't have any living sons and i wonder what would have happened had any of his sons survived him. But Allah knows best

So if you have any reference that Monarchism is against Islamic rule, i would appreciate it.

Actually theres' also no provision in Islam that is against Kings or Kingdoms, In fact after the Khulfa-e-Rashideens, all Islamic lands have been under Kings and Sultans. Also there are more Monarchs in the Islamic world today than others.

I have been trying to research what is the most Islamic form of govt and i found that scholars themselves are not united in their views. The pro-democracy scholars quote a small part of a verse "conduct their affairs by mutual consultation" (https://quran.com/42/38) as their justification for democracy.

However i am not finished with my research so i am still open minded on this issue

Read Khalafat-o-Malukiat by M Madudi! And have Hadith books (or Islam One app) opened alongside to cross check and verify all references to Hadith.

Malukiat is rejected in Islam. Hazrat Hussain (AS) stance against Yazid was against Malukiat! It doesn't matter what Islamic scholars say, none of them knew/know Islam better than Hazrat Hussain (AS).

There is Sahih Hadith where Prophet PBUH said that after 30 years of Khulfa-e-Rashideen, a biting (cruel) malukiat would take over (Hazrat Muawiyah's reign).

Read Quran and Hadith directly - not what some scholars wrote.

All 4 Khulfa-e-Rashideen were 'voted' in! No one was forced/coerced to take their bayt, unlike the malukiat of Hazrat Muawiyah and his son Yazid and thereon. These malukiat were muslim governments but these were not Islamic governments. This curse was started by Banu Ummayad and has continued.
