J-10A still has 7 hardpoints for weapons and additional pylons could be added to increase the weapon payload of the plane and the other two hardpoint are merely used for pods.

According to Sinodefence.com:
"The aircraft has 11 external stores stations for weapon carriage, three under each wing and five under the fuselage."

But the above pic shows that four under each wing and three under the fuselage and the count is still 11.

Dumb bombs and targeting pods thats it. can it carry advance AAM AGM? NO! that is not really a multi role hardpoint like the one found under the wings.

Are you saying they are not hard point because they only carry irom bombs? Even if they can only carry dumb bombs, they are still hard points. It has 11 hardpoints.

What is the difference between a PGM hardpoint and a dumb bomb hard point? ... ... besides the possibilty of the added guidance unit crushing into other parts of the J-10, it seem there is enough clearance to fit an equivalent PGM of the iron bombs shown.

Those hardpoints under the fuselage can carry a targeting pod and a FLIR pod. How much do such pods weigh? Lets look at the U.S. equivalent, LANTIRN (LANTIRN - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). LANTIRN also consists of two pods, a navigation pod (for FLIR) and targeting pod. Weight: Navigation pod, 451.1 lb (204.6 kg); targeting pod, 530 lb (240.7 kg). Even the USAF's new generation targeting pod, Sniper XR, weighs over 200 kg - it has both FLIR and laser designator for targeting all in one pod.
J-10's belly stations can easily carry the 180 kg PL-12/SD-10 medium range missile, especially if we assume that the Chinese pods are less advanced and therefore even heavier than the USAF's old LANTIRN pods. That means a total of 8 SD-10 (4 under fuselage, 4 under wings), 3 fuel tanks and 2 short-range missiles. Or 11 medium range missiles if we replace the 3 fuel tanks with an SD-10.
ironman seems confident about the writings of Prasun K. Sengupta so I will add this. I recently read a comment in his blog where somebody wanted to compare the InAF's MMRCA options with Pakistan's FC-20 and asked how many BVR AAMs the FC-20 could carry. Mr Sengupta replied that it would be qualified for carrying up to 11 BVR AAMs. I don't know where he got that info from, I can only assume that either he is speculating, he has inside contacts or he asked an official at one of the military equipment exhibitions he attends.
