Hello..
I want to but a car in a week or so..

I have narrowed down to two cars..
Help me as to which if these two I should buy.. :help: :help:

Option 1 : Hyundai Accent Executive (565000/- INR on road)
+ Sedan in the price of a hatchback
+ Larger boot space
+ Better ride quality(Personal opinion, might not be 100% correct)
+ 1.5 liter engine, better power and torque
- Outdated looks
- Mileage slightly on the lower side
- Might be discontinued in some time

Option 2 : Hyundai I20 Magna 1.2 (550/- INR on road )
+ Newer technology
+ Better resale
+ Better refinement
+ Better looks
- Less rear leg room
- Little boot space compared to a sedan
- 1.2 liter engine, less powerful compared to Accent

My monthly run is not much and will be in the range of 1500-2000 kms only...
Thats why not considering the diesel option.. Plus I like the refinement of a petrol engine..

Will buy the one which gets more preference here on the thread..!!

not a fan of hyundai accent...it had serious handling issues..
I had one 1999 model and it was hard to turn on tight turns..
Build quality isnt good either...

Why not consider Marutis when it comes to Petrol Cars? buy a WagonR/Esteilo(no swift!)? You will get good resale value as well. easy manoeuvring and parking in tight spaces in cities. cheaper to maintain and sell off in 3-4 years!. no with swift petrol model. Swift=diesel MJD(Multijet CRDI).

and I though Hyundai Accent production stopped. hardly see any new one. rather than a Hyundai Accent, a Tata Manza petrol will be better!

.
Why not look at other brands?

Budget constraints...
Plus I already have a Hyundai car...
Getting loyalty bonus of Rs 20000/- if I purchase another Hyundai..
And I am pretty much a fan of Hyundai as the current car gave me no problems what so ever... And the service at the Hyundai stations have been a 10/10 through out these years.....

Too cramped as compared to Accent and I20...
No headroom no legroom..... No room what so ever..!!! :bad:

what hyundai you have now?

Hyundai i10....

. . .
No that is not it...
The one you posted is Hyundai Verna..
Its a class above Hyundai Accent...

Accent = INR 565000/-
Verna = INR 823000/-

Cant spend a rupee more than 600000/-....

Its sold as Verna in India and they keep selling the older model as Accent.

Mitsubishi does the same with Pajero in India, older models still sold as Pajero and newer model as Montero:cheesy:

Arre yaar not here in India...
Company uses different names for different models in different regions.... :meeting:
What you call an Accent is branded as Verna here in India...

I have posted a pic above in the thread..
Accent in India looks like that... :bounce:

I wouldn say go for the i20 in a heartbeat from among the two. The ride quality is much greater in an i20. The car handles rather well and responds quickly.

The i20 has a great suspension as well.

From the two options there is no better choice than the i20.

Otherwise go for vernacular fluidic.
