Please help hearing random voices from iPhone 8

have you installed imo in it? sometimes it happens that some apps are not properly closed down and the adds associated with these apps keep on running in the background.

No I didn’t install imo. If it was an add I would have known. That’s happened before but this was an actual man having a conversation. All the apps were closed. I never leave an app open when I go to another one

Like I’m not constantly hearing the voice. I just heard it for a couple of minutes and then it randomly went away.

the phone was powered on while you thought it wasnt and some app you recently installed was using your phone, this is the job of rat apps that pretend a powered off phone while using it... what carrier do you use?call them and tell them what happened.their cyber security team might help..recall what apps you installed and if you bought it off-market.

So I am just sitting on my laptop with my phone turned off beside me on the bed. All the apps, Bluetooth and everything was turned off or closed. All of sudden I hear this random voice on my phone, it sounded like a person having a conversation with someone but I couldn’t hear the other person. I could only hear the one voice. Anyone know what happened or what’s going on?

When was the last time you updated your iPhone? Is your iPhone jailbreak?

That's what you get for using Apple devices.

Even here in the US.....only "brand" type of people have expensive shitty apple devices.

Move back to Android devices like Samsung.

I think in our society we have stigma about such thing but these kind of events are common for people suffering from mind illness , people immediately make fun of the situation that is the first thing people do (unfortunately it is what happens worldwide) out of fear people don't go to doctors

• The main symptom would be hearing , repeating voices. Not a 1-time event like you hear it 1 time and nothing

Example in a room , you have TV running 24/7 and you are in that room you
have no control to turn it off

• Now if your iPhone was running , then you can argue there was another app running in background but with the power off completely technically it is not possible

Now as you stated 2 people confirmed hearing it then you may have something unusual happen


There are alot of unexplainable things in our lives it happens

Also we are in extremely stressful times so it impacts the mind of people daily

Same thing happened with my Iphone XS. I thought I was being paranoid due to Coronavirus scare.

I don't use my iPhone XS for visiting defence, xx or any other controversial sites. Let's just say I am paranoid about government or other entities spying on me. Have a paid security suite and also a paid vpn on it.

Now I think agencies are snooping on citizens worldwide. Many people on the internet have reported such occurences.
