The best thing she did was to get rid of terrorist elements, using terrorism as a state tool is riding the gravy train, when you fall, you fall hard.
That being, it's just my personal opinion, a Bangladeshi would know it in more detail.
@ Bangladesh is not like Pakistan or India where Islamic Terrorism exists. Our people are peace living, moderate Islamic minded. However, there are few who blief on Islamic extremism. But their number and supporters are very few. However, few years back we saw the rise of JMB (Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh) in North Bengal. It was this JMB who simultanously exploded explosives in 60 districts. Before it was in formating stage we saw lot of articles from your sides. Soon it was widely circulated in the Western Media and suddenly we saw the rise of this group. Soon it was quelled down by the BNP government. On scrutiny, it was revealed that RAW had a hand in it. Even once our then BDR Chief went to India he said at Delhi in front of the press. I think, as a small country it is more than enough.
@ Now once AL came to power within a week she declared that she would form a South Asian Task Force to eliminate these Islamic Terrorism. Wow !! What a great statement, this like "either you are with us or against us".
@ If we
analysis the political history of AL since 1949, we would find that the decisions always comes from the horse mouth suddenly. In 1956 once "Jukto Front" of A K Fazlul Huq formed the govt at East Pakistan, initially Mujib was not taken on the Ministry so he did not participated in the outh ceremony. Once he was enrolled in the Ministry he was deeply involved in the corruption and soon sacked from the Ministry. Now, he was determined to over throw the whole East Pakistan govt which was infact made by the AL itself. He now indulged in a more cruel way in instigating the riot between Bengalees and non-Bengalees at Adamjee Jute Mills where more than 1000 people died. Soon the Central Govt of AL(Hussain Shahid Surwardy) itself from Pindi dissolved the Ministry of Fazlul Huq in East Pakistan. And the blame was given to West Pakistan. What a funy ! The "Jukto Front" was in power in East Pakistan province where AL was one of the qualition member and at the Centre AL of Surwardy as PM. Now, the Governer General dismissed the Provintial Govt with the advice of PM.
@ During the
1965 war between Pakistan and India once the Governor Munum Khan called on all political parties of the then East Pakistan at his office, Mujib silently suggested to Governor to declare independence from Pakistan.
@ In
1966 once the six points were declared at Lahore it was a surprise to the AL itself. It was never discussed within the party forum. Once Mujib returned to Dhaka he called all the District Committee and formally the six points were discussed. Miracally out of 17 districts members 14 did not supported and many left the party. Soon Mujib called on the young lots Tofael, Razzak, Rob and others to take the leadership and eliminate all these old ex-Muslim Leaquers.
By this times his arms seems to be too strong may be Abir has already extended his long hand.
@ After the
election of 1970 Mujib was completely changed man although his party already signed the legal frame work of Yahya Khan. In his minifesto there was no where mention about the secession of East Pakistan, secularism and socialism.
After independance he just cut the fundamental principals of Indian Constitution and pest it on our constitution.
