Planning ahead: Nawaz for fast-tracking power generation

what ever makes you happy.... But Facts are ...

1) No Serious industry build Wind Power towers for commercial use.
There are already some commercial operators around Karachi;they are not fools Do not Forget the discussion is about Gaddani power park, not about all the world. There is lot of wind around Karachi and in other coastal areas. Probably you do not know the wind speed and power that God has blessed Pakistan with, but the government has ignored it. If we build wind energy turbines in Pakistan (probably with TOT) it will be cheaper and long lasting. Be a Pakistani not a Nawazist or Lahori, please.
your technology discussions are quite flawed, but I do not want to go beyond Gaddani park as per rules of the forum.

Where topic is Gaddani Park alone? Read again the topic.. your reading skills are flawed not my research (with references).

Even if you speak about Gaddani Park and Wind Power alone. Here is some detailed comparison and I am expecting same reply...
Wind Power Coal Power
Cost = 8 Cent per kWh 4.5 per kWh
Space = upto 10 kW per acre upto 16 GWh per acre

If I were you, the only flawed expect in gadani park will be imported coal. But again, our coal is substandard.

I agree on the bill part, this month's electricity bills have literally kicked the sh!t out of everyone.. :hitwall:

And guess what, they not even implement the tariff plan. Normal user will get that tariff by Oct. Yet already your electricity bill going wild.. Human Psyhology

Cost:
Initially, the wind power costs more but the customer will get relief once the investment is recovered.
The ground reality: the government is buying wind power for approx 15 rupees per unit; this is almost equal to thermal power and the companies investing have announced that they will start reducing the rate in a few years time (3 to 5 years), which is an advantage over other non-renewable resources because of no fuel cost.
Space:
We have not acres but hundreds of miles barren coastal areas, so space is not a problem. In fact, the space and high winds at low levels make our land an ideal place for the wind power.
Your comment about space has proven that you are only an internet warrior and do not know the ground realities.

The cost
The cost of electricity is already high and we want to cut it down, not increase it. your commnet on Human Psychology shows that you -like any blind and probably rich supporter (or immature youth)- lack the 'Human' part of psychology.

I do not want to drag this fight on and on, so this is my last reply; I am a busy man and have no time for any blind supporter of any one.
