PLAAF J-10A crashed, pilot died

.
Just build a new one, we don't have to bid MMRCA. The intensity of training is much higher than used to be, Al31 FN is not reliable enough. That's why we start to put WS10 engine on it. I don't worry about it, especially the pilot was not dead. We will get a fresh new J10AH for the navy very soon. Very lucky no one died in the accident. PLAAF is very emphasis on the night training, a good sign. AL31 is not designed to prop a single engine fighter, we will get rid of it soon. That's why India don't like Russia stuff either.

An aircraft can crash for a thousand reasons that has nothing to to with the engines. Electrical fires, lose fuel lines, vibrations, poor maintenance, improper maintenance, pilot error, poor weather, bird strikes, ect will cause crashes.

Engines themselves rarely fail when they are properly assembled, properly maintained and properly installed. When an aircraft engine is overhauled hundreds of components are replaced. One loose bolt, one missing bolt or one improperly installed fuel line can cause a catastrophic failure.

Likewise neglecting to perform scheduled maintenance can result in engine failures. There has been passenger airliners that crashed because the vertical stalalizer was not lubricated often enough.

I don't know why the J-10 crashed but the fuel lines, electronics, mounting and installation was not done by Russia, nor was the maintanance or overhauls (if the aircraft undergone it).
