PLAAF attacks Philippines Air Force and prepares to fight other SEA nations

Buzz?

Is that an attack? I do not think PLAAF will attack first. Isn't they are still in negotiation???
China was too soft in negotiation tactics, so Philippines took advantage and started drilling by itself. Now it is deploying soldiers to China's Nansha Islands and flying patrols with its old aircraft to show sovereignty.

Now China is fighting back! This is a good step but I think we need to prepare to totally destroy Philippines navy and air force if we have to. Never act aggressive in this dangerous neighborhood unless you are willing to go "all the way."

Chinese Defense Minister Visits Philippines

Chinese Defence Minister Liang Guanglie will arrive in the Philippines on May 21, the Chinese embassy said, on a trip seen as deepening military ties.

Liang, in the midst of an Asian tour, will call on President Benigno Aquino and hold talks with his host, Defence Secretary Voltaire Gazmin, during his four-day trip, the embassy said in a statement Friday.

"The visit is expected to further advance China-Philippines friendly relations, specifically military exchanges and pragmatic cooperation," it said.

Philippine armed forces Chief of Staff Gen. Eduardo Oban has said the two armies were already exchanging visits by officers while the Chinese military had donated engineering equipment to the Philippine army.

Sun zi would be ashamed. What is the strategic benefit, of making enemies in all directions? I.e. Surrounding yourself with enemies?

Like Cardsharp said, I'm glad you're not in charge of anything.

A military source said that two OV-10 Broncos were on a routine reconnaissance patrol over the Kalayaan Islands when two Chinese MIG-29 Fulcrums appeared and buzzed over the two PAF planes.

When did PLAAF get Mig-29's?

China is bullying other nations over Spratly Islands. Its 1000km from Hainan and only 400km from Vietnam.

Nansha should belong to SEA nations.China borderline there too close to their coasts.

Read the articles closely. This "buzzing" caused the Philippines Air Force to back off and leave Chinese airspace. This is only possible if the PLAAF executed very aggressive maneuvers like going behind enemy's 6 o'clock and locking on with missiles without actually firing.

Of course I deliberately chose the word "attack" because there is no shame in attacking an intruder who has violated your sovereignty. I'm not going to use some silly euphemism like "buzzing" whatever that means. China needs to protect its own interests and damn anybody who tries to point fingers at us for doing so.

This is the fighting spirit that Chairman Mao taught us in the 1950's and 1960's :china:

Yes the same fighting spirit that killed MILLIONS of Chinese under the great leap forward and the Cultural Revolution. Your past comments lead me to believe if you had lived in Mao’s time. You would have eagerly been one of his most fervent supporters. Lining people up and shooting them because of perceived disloyalty.

Well, Mao did some of the things wrong while most of the things right. He reunified China as much as he could.

Yes, the official line is that Mao was 70% right, and 30% wrong.

Uniting a country as large as China is difficult, and has historically led to a lot of bloodshed. Look at Qin Shi Huang for example.

Guam is 1000 miles off China coast, and 3000 miles away from the US.

will you say it justify Guam should belong to China?

and Andaman Islands should belong to Myanmar.

Wrong. I do not advocate"making enemies" in all directions. The enemies are already there. I advocate turning China's enemies into dead bodies. That makes life better for Chinese people. This is the way a superpower thinks.

So finally the full story comes to light. US and the Philippines: naval ships and ?historical ties?

First, the US has been encouraging Philippines to take a hard line against China by doing oil exploration in China's EEZ together with western oil companies. In March 2011, Chinese coast guard vessels confronted Philippines' oil exploration vessel. The Philippines escalated this confrontation by sending their air force against China's coast guard.

On May 12, China struck back by confronting Philippines Air Force with PLAAF and forcing them to flee. Just two days later, the Philippines President visited the USS Carl Vinson and USA gave the Philippines a retired US navy ship for oil exploration. The USS Carl Vinson came from Indian Ocean where it was part of the mission that killed OBL.

It's clear that USA wants to deploy USS Carl Vinson in the South China Sea to fight PLAN and PLAAF. It is trying to get as many countries to be cannon fodder as possible. Philippines is one cannon fodder. Vietnam is another. Very like, China will also face USS George Washington in the Yellow Sea at the same time, which will make a move on North Korea.

China's mission for the next few years will be to prepare for this inevitable showdown. When the time comes, PLAAF and PLAN must destroy USS Carl Vinson in the South China Sea, destroy USS George Washington in the Yellow Sea and then attack any US allied country like Philippines, Vietnam, South Korea or Japan. I prefer going nuclear right away against these four countries, or else occupy their population with soldiers and make them submit to our will. Against the US, the J-20, the ASBM and advanced submarines are the answer.

It is lucky for India that India decided not to join Asian NATO by rejecting USA in the MMCRA, or else it will be cannon fodder too.

Guam and Andaman aren't being claimed by any other country.

So your logic=fail

Andaman Island is 50000KM away from India and only 300 KM from Burma but yet India claims the Island as part of India
