PLA Navy Carrier/Fighters..

China has no habit to publicize its defense procurements, so don't expect any news link. Believe or not, as your wish.

Dear MX,

It will be to hard even for the Chinese Govt. to conceal the building of a AC. The reason i asked you the LOA was because if you are right then the drydock or slipway must be big enough to accomodate it.

Regards

if you know they are not my words then why are you trying to be a smart @ss making a sarcastic remark? :blah:
i posted the link in my previous post..

Oh dear...I see you have copy/pasted straight from the earliest post. In other reputable defence forums that I know of you can by kicked out for attempting that kind of stunt.

Now if you refer to your post #18, all those are 'speculations' from a known "Blue Team" hyping the China Threat. Now I quite appreciate their work as it gives us ammunition to get better funding and hardware from the politicians but for the purpose of analysis and debate it is a total load of rubbish.

.
As if these nay-sayers knew what they were talking about...they are from neither University of National Defense nor Academy of Military Science, and they don't know half of PLA's anti-access arsenal in West Pacific.

"Anti Access Arsenal?"

Don't make me laugh. The USN+allies can penetrate the PLAN's "first island chain" any time we want anytime including parking subsurface assets outside your naval bases. Even the Pakistanis have done it given the level of PLAN ASW competancy.

On another note, when posting in WAB, I see you have been kicked out for posting rubbish as usual.

the Chinese have done it before and will do it again, J-11 will be upgraded to Su-33 and possibly PN may be the first customer!

"Anti Access Arsenal?"

...

I believe XM is referring to the following:

Washington Times - Admiral pursues Chinese answers, ties

...

"We are concerned about development of long-range cruise and ballistic missiles. We're concerned about anti-satellite technology, execution thereof. We're concerned about area-denial weapons," Adm. Timothy Keating told reporters.

...

Area-denial arms are what the Pentagon calls weapons used to attack U.S. aircraft carriers and ships. They include ballistic and cruise missiles with precision-guided warheads for strikes against carriers and other warships that would defend Taiwan in any conflict, the Pentagon has said.
...

-------

Area denial arms are there. As to the capability and effectiveness, nobody knows until tested in real conflicts, which I'm sure will be bad enough for everyone...
