You have zero idea!
Vietnam is no Burma.
Firstly, Vietnamese are fighters, Burmese are not.
Secondly, Vietnamese had been fighting in their area for decades before they took on China, while Burma doesn't have much experience.
Thirdly, Burmese military is far inferior to Vietnamese.
Fourthly, they would have huge support of locals. Yes, locals, assuming they don't go deep south. All ethnic minorities in Burma don't much like Burmese dominated system. Kokangs are already there. They will also give valuable information on terrain, as they know the terrain of Shan State much better than Burmese.

still think positive upon this exercise... I do believe that China dont want to lose his old friend who much profit for him , support the gas and oil pipe direct to home bypassing malacca strait , a country in which the Pearl Strings and New Silk Road.. Now China is still a major investor in Myanmar and about to start new project by co-opreation Like our Indian friends..
