This is the best time for PLA to invade and reach Leh and mount pressure on Itanagar in the East.

The passes are open and will remain so for some time. In a month, the weather will turn for the worse.

The PLA has reached Leh, just 27 kms from city center.

If Modi went there, he would have been a prisoner.

The advantage of the Chinese advance would be that (if they hurry) they can outflank Indian defenses facing West.

Pakistan can launch a minor attack from the West and link up with advancing PLA in Srinagar. The combined force can then move to Jammu from the North (instead of traditional Akhnoor). Then the road to Amritsar and Delhi will be open.

This can be similar to Manstein's plan in Fall Gelb.

The crazy thing is they call fellow Indians i.e. Ladakh folks "liars" and "agenda drivers", the very people who with their animals graze that land.

Fact is back in 80s and 90s and early 2000s there were very few troops on both sides which meant shepherds and tribals on Indian side used to easily cross into Chinese side of LAC and vice versa too.
But now with both sides deploying many divisions it is no longer possible. But now locals have started claiming their past incursions across LAC as Indian land.

Anyways satellite data released today showed all chinese presence is within their side of LAC

You actually make a sensible point.

The allegedly "lost Indian territory" could be just Chinese land that Indians (IA or locals) sneaked into over the years, inch at a time. IA did the same tricks and even set up posts on Chinese land before 1962 , until pissed Chinese off and got expelled by miles. It looks Indians have never learnt their lessons.

India should settle its borders with China, or it will be forever dragged into an Arm Race it can't afford.
