PLA general sentenced to death after corruption conviction
Andrew Tate, London - IHS Jane's Defence Weekly
10 August 2015
A People's Liberation Army (PLA) court martial has sentenced a lieutenant general to death after finding him guilty of corruption, embezzlement, and bribery.

Gu Junshan, 58, was formerly the deputy head of the General Logistics Department, in charge of property and infrastructure. The sentence has been suspended for two years and is then likely to be commuted to life imprisonment.

Gu has been under investigation since 2011 and is reported to have amassed a fortune from corrupt deals, including private property development on land owned by the PLA. After his arrest, four lorry-loads of goods acquired through his activities, including a solid gold statue of Chairman Mao and dozens of cases of expensive spirits, were cleared from one of his properties.

CCP is very corrupted. Death sentences for one cannot cut it.
USA is much more corrupted from our eyes, remember the 1%?Your politicials are controlled by the super rich men,the rich men are always above the law system in USA . In China, you could be caught even you are very high rank officials or very rich billionaires,we always admit our corruption and improve it,USA is not model and very corrupted too,but it is OK if you ignores it,it is none of our business.

In Chinese criteria of corruption, all American politicians and their Indian followers should be sentenced to death. Corruption is legalized in USA and India. Trump could buy politicians, now he should be the next president, Bush III or Clinton II is also fine.

I am satisfied by the anti-corruption movement in China. The current Chinese leaders are strong and better than any other former leaders.
One of my neighbours who is just a low-rank officer in education dared not to hold a grand wedding ceremony for his daughter, just having a small party with a couple of his close relatives.

In the US, corruption is pretty much unknown. If by any measure, it's tiny in scale.

Like the negligible 2.3 trillion USD.
Oh, those terrorists destroyed all the files. Case solved. …
American or western corruption is open and legit.
