Again, my view as i expressed in previous post is.

China and Japan should duel it out with each other

It's no point to just yell at each other and say who's best and who'll win, you fight, then you know

building LHD is good, but for every LHD you need at least 1 Carrier to look over it, as LHD itself do not have aircover and you cannot use land base cover as those are mobile platform. Or is there any STOL fighter jet chinese currently developing?

5 LHD = you need 5 Aircraft Carrier

The case of the Japanese is an exception.

First, it's not that they have, but rather they CAN'T have aircraft carrier.

Secondly, Japanese Defence Force are NOT to deploy outside Japan, if they do need to deploy outside Japan, they are to escorted by the US Ship, so they will have carrier then, the US Supercarrier.

I believe they were not called LHA, but they are called "Destroyer" or "Helicopter Destroyer" in the JMSDF

But seriously, they can house either 8 Harrier or 6 F-35B, so it's actually not so Helicopter Destroyer anymore ..... Hehe
