What's new

PLA confirmation: DF-41 is MIRVed (up to 10).

Precisely, scarborough shoal which filippino brag belongs to them is effectively in Chinese hands and where is the yankee sending warship to support Pinoy? You american are scared?

Shrugs* The Philippines invited us in after in response to China's aggression. It actually benefited us since China didn't want American forces in there, same for the Filipinos after they kicked the U.S. out. Just like having a few thousand Marines in Australia. Don't know why China complains about that.

In the 90s, our offensive nuke is limited and the possibility of causing a devastated blow to the US is extremely limited. Beside, Taiwan back down so there is no need to raise tension. We already declare and set the red line as far as the reason to attack. The ball is not in our court. In fact, the ball is in your court.

For North Korea, it is a sovereign nation. We have no obligation to put all money and blood to die for that country. Anything we do with North Korea is purely strategic and neighborly business.

Actually the ball was in your court. After the carriers were sent you stopped firing missiles.

No, you say American is like god, can attack anywhere , anyplace and is invincible. Then why suddenly become like a chicken and afraid of a so called "Little China"? Even a small small Scaborough shoal, you dont even dare to act on it to brag your invincibilities? Are you blowing hot farts?

Look, China couldn't do anything with American carriers and other warships as well as recon planes nearby. China sent a message to the U.S. to tell them to stop. U.S. gave the finger and said no, China didn't do anything after that and American warships and planes still fly. Enough said.

The DF-41 isn't meant for range but speed. It is supposed to reach anywhere in the World within an hour.

Any ICBM in the world can strike globally within an hour, but DF-41 was not only designed for its greater range and payload, but also for its supermaneuverability and accuracy to counter against the US anti-missile defense systems.

So far the only thing which is more maneuverable and accurate than DF-41 is China's HGV AKA WU-14. That thing was nearly impossible to be intercepted. And in order to shoot down one is like the chance to win a lottery.

Stupid media alway put a false picture when they can't find the real one.LOL.

You have the capability to nuke the U.S. as well as our carriers that were next door to China even in 95. Hell you even have the capability to nuke the U.S. now even after U.S. sent recon planes and China still complains about it. Hell you could have protected North Korea when it lost ships to South Korea and Japan and Australia in the past. :o:

True talk bros.
However, you also have to know that, as i said several times on here, two big nuclear powers will never really fight directly with each other, much less use nukes. The can be involve in indirect battles in smaller countries like during the Korean war, Vietnam war, scarboruough shoal incident, Taiwan strait crises, Crimea/Ukraine issue etc, But they will never really fight each other directly in a full scale war or whatever. anybody who thinks otherwise is just wishful thinking.:P

There is a slight update needed on that information.

In relations between China and US there were no MAD status back in 95. Meaning a nuclear warfare would result in assured destruction of China. Even today it's questionable weather or not China-US relations is in a MAD status.

The whole JL-2 program, quite SSBN's, DF-41's, Chinese Strategic Bomber program etc. are all for acquiring MAD status with US. Some of those programs are in initial operation phase (JL-2 program if I should be precise) , some of them are being tested (DF-41) and some of them are in research phase (quite SSBN's and Strategic Bombers).

If all those technologies are in Chinese arsenal ready for operation, tied to up and running systems than we can talk about a MAD status between China and USA.

If who start WWIII first, Chinese will use 12,000 km DF-41 ICBM to give him a lesson.
Of course, American also can give Chinese a lesson by B-2 & Ohio and Virginia subs.

Oh so that's why Taiwan failed to declare itself independence after US carrier arrived huh. OH yeah we stopped firing missiles because you guys showed up and what did Taiwan do? They shut their damn mouth about becoming an independent state. You leaders must have told them to shut da f*ck up so nothing happened after that.

Last year China told US to f*ck off with bombing North Korean nuclear facility so did you guys gave us the finger? I believe Kerry made an announcement of provoking the North Koreans too much and that you guys might have made things worse.

I have discussed that before.

Back in 1996, China can deter about 60-100 US cities, but China would get totally annihilated.

However, the US doesn't like to talk too much about the nuclear Armageddon, since Martin has already got his door knocked by the NSA.

We have to thank the Americans for making us speed up with modernization. 20 years later and we are much stronger compared to 95/96.

Yeah exactly. What I was trying to say is, having nuclear warheads does not automatically puts you in MAD status with all nuclear nations. You should have strategic forces to deliver the warheads to desired targets. If you can't and your opponent has that you're definitely not in a MAD status with your opponent.

That's why all those strategic nuclear delivery programs are being funded in China heavily. @Oldman1 was thinking there was a MAD status between China and USA back than.

The US can beat China in a nuclear war back in 1996, but it was not worthy.

Since China was piss poor at that time with a tiny GDP of no more than 500 billion, while the US was already the sole superpower after winning the Cold War.

The US would still not fight China at the expense of turning themselves into a third world nation.

During the Taiwan Strait crisis, when facing against the pressure of the US military, China was ready to launch its ICBMs in a pre-emptive strike.

We had 24 DF-5 missiles with a range of 15000km, and each missile carrying a single 3-5 megaton warhead.

Also, we had several brigades of the newly deployed DF-31 series missiles with a range of 10000km, and each missile carrying a single 1 megaton warhead.

The US has two modes to launch a nuclear attack:

1. The President got the authorization from the congress to launch a pre-emptive strike against the enemy nations.

2. When the enemy nation launches the nuclear missiles first, then the US will launch the nuclear deterrence back without the authorization.

The Clinton government did not have any meeting with the congress, so they were surprised by China's pre-emptive strike behavior.

In order to avoid a possible nuclear war, the US has finally conceded and forced Taiwan to abandon its referendum.

Although China was weaker, we did manage to force the US to retreat.

12000km in 1 hour means around 3km per second
U serious sir????

@Chinese-Dragon what's the longest range missile you guys have and was this MIRVed test the first one????
