Pardon, but now it is even more confusing?!!! @jian-10 clearly stated the PLAAF paint is "crappy? it's like they use a very thin layer of gloss paint" and even more he was "not talking about the schemes, I'm talking about the paint itself."

That's my point. Discussing on schemes (1) is one matter and vastly depends on taste, but the way a colour is applied (2) is something different and again different is to discuss the quality of the paint (3).

So in summary IMO:
(1) colour schemes: depends on taste
(2) the way a colour is applied: looks perfectly fine even in close up images ... so IMO nothing to complain.
(3) quality of the paint: Is that possible to judge from these images?
