PJSC "Sukhoi " may fall under anti-Russian sanctions

Recently US administration has announced that White House is considering imposing new sanctions against Russia in connection with its bloody bombings in Syria. In addition, in view of the termination of any contacts on the Syrian issue with Russia, directly with Moscow the issue of sanctions would not be discussed and when sanctions would be imposed (if imposed) than it will be a kind of surprise. Especially for those companies and individuals, on which they will be imposed.

Actually, everything seems absolutely clear. Russia has again stepped on the same rake. But it is not interesting how Russia would be writhing on, but to know who would be final yoke for her. We can at least, to predict those enterprises, which would not be so sweet to live in the nearest future. And there is one company as an option that may be added to the sanctions list. This is the PJSC " Sukhoi ".

It is required to mention that company engaged in production and trafficking of "Su" fighters all around the globe, which are causing ill-fated strikes on Syrian schools, hospitals and humanitarian convoys, will feel bad taste of sanctional restrictions in the nearest future.

In addition, PJSC " Sukhoi " has been already linked with an incident in 2006, when US State Department imposed sanctions on the company for the modernization of qty 30 Su-24 aircrafts for Iranian Air Forces. But those were just flowers and berries are yet still awaited.

It would be usefull to recall the current state of "Uralvagonzavod" plant which is currently under procedure of bankruptcy. Or TOP Russian arm dealing companies which had lost 25% of profit in the international markets compared to year 2014.

PJSC "Sukhoi" management has a lot of things to think about and in the White House Russian company will not be forgotten for sure.

The US and Turkey are likely to push ahead with a coordinated effort against ISIS, before regime forces have a chance to move with Russia assistance. This will likely force Russia to back off, and mark a major setback for Assad's forces.

Considering the fact that Russia has deployed various air defense systems,it would be irrational to believe that they are gonna back out just like that , putin is very committed to Syria
sanctions are only gonna strengthen his resolve as it would be too embarrassing for Russia to back off now

it's a political statement, Putin is ambitions, not suicidal.

Brother...My country was not born coz of UN... it was born when the first Islamic Sufi put his foot in the subcontinent...it was assured when Muhammad bin Qasim defeated Raja Daahir of Sindh at a very young age of 17 years...it was born when the first non believer of the subcontinent realized the difference between darkness and light and chose the light of Islam...

I'm stating ground reality, not denying it. The movement of SAMs is nothing more than a show of force; if US fighters were to directly go above the Russia base, the SAM would not open fire, as it would be a declaration of war.

1) where are these thoughts coming in to your mind, so according to you Russians wont even defend themselves let alone defend Syrian forces and these systems are just for show because Russians are too chicken shit to defend themselves , making far fetched claims is too easy .... 2 ) if American fighters fly towards Russian base and come near lets say 100 kms then Russians actions can be justify and probably first there will be warning shot but then there will be use of force 3) a year has passed since Russia joined the Syrian offensive there were many times for both countries to start a war but both behaved . 4) the situation in Syria as many analysts say is at a stalemate as far as America i concerned...

Its the same reason why the US has never shot down a Russian fighter that has literally violated US carrier battle group air spaces, and the same reason why NATO nations don't generally shoot down Russian fighters that violate their air space.

The last thing the world wants is a war between two of the biggest nuclear powers in the world. It doesn't matter how "justified" a reason may be, both sides will almost certainly disagree on the events that occurred, and that can lead to increased hostility and potentially war.

The reason why both nations "behaved" was because they started to cooperate against ISIS, but that relationship has collapsed, with both sides now accusing each other of committing war crimes.

The situation in Syria WAS a stalemate, but things have changed quickly. The Syrian regime, with the help of Russian forces, have quickly gained the upper hand, and have started targeting western backed opposition forces, despite Russia's commitment that it would avoid such a thing. The US, alarmed at Assad's sudden advantage, green lighted Turkey to move into Syria and slow down regime advances. Now, its a race to see whom is the first one to clear out the last few bastions of ISIS strongholds within Syria, and the US fully intends to win this race.
