Piloting PIA 747-300 Khi to Lhr | Cockpit Views

One of the rarest versions of the Boeing 747 was the 747-300 and we had opportunity to film this aircraft, with PAKISTAN INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES. With PIA we flew round trip between Karachi and Lahore. This video shows scenes from the 1st leg of this trip. In addition the nearly 5 hour PIA Flight Deck film features the 777-200LR and 777-300ER between Karachi and Islamabad, the A310 on the same route, the 737-300 to the dangerous airport of Skardu and the ATR-42 to the dangerous airport of Gilgit.

They were being phased out in 2015.

747 is such a beautiful plane, its a pleasure to watch it take and land. Too bad they are not good for the fuel efficiency and being phased out everywhere.
