PILDAT highlights potential Prime Ministers in coming 15 years

Khurram Dastaghir and Marvi Memon? Dafuq are these two doing in this list? :hitwall:

Many would have the SAME argument about seeing IK and number 18's name. People that have committed insane negative and devastating politics, for the sheer love of being in the power......are STILL listed in this list?? What are these people smoking.

IK's wife is a MUCH better politicians than IK is. Hands down. IK should retire and bring her on the forefront. I've watched her conversations, debates and presenting skills. She's a very capable lady to say the least. Mrs, Khan has my support (outside of people from my list above)

.
Bilawal , shahbaz sharif and asad omar is most potential candidate . Noon land PPP cant let anything from outside family take charge

. .
All these are great names but I, for one, don't see any change in current set-up until at least until 2023.

.
Seriously whoever makes these lists is so disconnected with the reality of Pakistan. It will either be a bhutto or sharif, if things change a little then may be IK or his wife. Rest are just pawns, they will play their parts as ministers but will never become PMs.

Of course if army takes over in 15 years then we will import a couple of PMs from Pakistani diaspora in US or Europe.

I disagree with due respect. This is the beauty of the "SYSTEM" that I keep writing about. In about next 10 years, you'll see a shift. What would happen is, the Zardari's, the Bhutto's and all of the world, will remain involve in politics. But their kids won't be the "chosen ones" to be the PM. That's how the system changes itself.

Let's say NS gets re-elected again or one of his party member. In about two more terms, Pakistan's system will become like the US or anywhere else you go to with a democratic system in place. These guys will have to in front of the public to vote who should be selected for the PM role. So you'll have debates and other means of people getting involved and ONE of the candidates would be NS's son or daughter or whoever. It won't be the ONLY person.

As the system grows, the same democracy will come inside the party system. Because if you didn't do that, the major parties will break as you always pick from one family or circle of friends and all. So let the system take care of itself.

I think when NS goes away and if they win again, Nisar has a better chance at being the PM than anyone. And he is actually a very good and strong guy from a Pakistani standspoint.

.
Chaudhary Nisar, Man of big deeds but small words.

.
The world doesn't know him
THAT is the problem with S.Asian politics we keep electing even shitholes we know just coz we know them from our community, district, province...Forget what good they can bring to the table!

As for SS doesnt he have cancer? I dont want Pakistan being his personal bank! And if he dies suddenly then what? He should retire and rest ...THAT is what patients do when they find out they are sick with 1 foot in the grave not go around looting via tax!

All these are great names but I, for one, don't see any change in current set-up until at least until 2023.
Or until 2 generations of assholes get blown off the planet!

1) Changing South Asian politics? How about you change your neighborhood first. It doesn't look like you hangout with too many quality educated people from your post. So when you get yourself better, we'll talk about the entire "South East Asian Politics". Too much talk, no walk and no practical experience in EVERY post of yours I see. Nothing solid, just emotional gibberish like IK's speeches!!!

2) On SS's Cancer: VERY cheap shot. I am sorry, I have to make you feel a little humane about this bullshiit you call "posts", just IK style, low quality cheap material, no respect for humans, other's wives, daughters or for people's sickness. Only want a PM seat, fukk the country and its people because someone feels like he's getting too old so he "deserves" a seat. No work or resume done to show qualifications for work. Managing a Cricket team, a Horse stable, a Vegetable farm, OR a COUNTRY are two VERY different skills that your leader (greed-er) doesn't have. Sorry, learn, practice, build a resume and go to the people. May need 20 more years, who knows....ever??

3) SS's Cancer: By the way, your rich father hasn't been paying for SS's medications all these years. So don't you worry, he has the money to take care of his medical condition. He's the chief minister of the largest state and has done a lot of work for his state and the country.

4) What people do when they find out they are 1 feet away from grave or total embarrassment, is they start these "sit ins" and on people's blood, ask for the power seat because they've turned 64!!!!

Or until 2 generations of assholes get blown off the planet!

Including assholes (using your own verbiage) who have gotten multiple women pregnant, who disassociate themselves from their own flesh and blood and who ditch their spouses for other women and continue building and breaking families. AND you expect these assholes to keep a country together :enjoy::tup:

People who aren't true to their own flesh and blood, will NOT be true to you, and everyone else on the planet. God made a family system for a reason, it shows a man's commitment to his family. If a man isn't committed to his children, trust me, he's not in it to protect others children. He just wants to be a PM because he's turned 64!!

PDF is not my personal diary...The very fact you needed to drag in IK shows your hate filled mentality very clearly!!

You have issues in accepting the party you choose can be bad...why not address that first before lecturing every other member here?

2) On SS's Cancer: VERY cheap shot.
Truth hurts?

How is something you people call a fact a cheap shot? If he didnt announce it we wouldnt know it...Now he has announced it we know and ask about it why is it cheap? Did I wish him dead? Oh did you imagine that? Knowing your mentality you may just have read it as that hence the comment!

Fix your slave mentality before lecturing others!

I am sorry, I have to make you feel a little humane about this bullshiit you call "posts", just IK style, low quality cheap material, no respect for humans, other's wives, daughters or for people's sickness.
Again the unnecessary dragging of IK...Obsession much?

As for respect for illness..Has he respect for any Pakistani when he over burdens EVERY SINGLE millions of us?
Respect is a 2 way street not a birth right!

Only want a PM seat, fukk the country and its people because someone feels like he's getting too old so he "deserves" a seat. No work or resume done to show qualifications for work. And here comes the obsession?! THE IK syndrome where you just blindly bash IK even if the topic ISNT about IK!

I didnt find it worth reading anything further from this rant! In fact I didnt even read more than 1st sentence as it is the same mentality that has you ranting all over the forum and now even way off topic!

I NEVER mentioned IK but you just had to rant! bravo! Go preach to a mirror regarding emotional coz the para above is a really good representative that you were trying to project on me ...............please!

3) SS's Cancer: By the way, your rich father hasn't been paying for SS's medications all these years. So don't you worry, he has the money to take care of his medical condition. He's the chief minister of the largest state and has done a lot of work for his state and the country.
And according to your preaching : personal jibes are a result of which neighbourhood you grew up in? Seriously...Talk about issues ...SS is not your father so keep your shit to yourself!

Reported for personal attack!

What people do when they find out they are 1 feet away from grave or total embarrassment, is they start these "sit ins" and on people's blood, ask for the power seat because they've turned 64!!!
No they start looting A WHOLE COUNTRY OF MILLIONS!

. .
Can I ask Why?

He is a foreign agent... all what he deserve is remand in military courts and he'll speak like parrot.

The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has released its own projection of political personalities that could take over command as the prime minister during the next 10-15 years.

The PILDAT analysis is based on the promise and potential that the people on their list have shown. The compilation has been produced as a book, and has helped highlight the role that those enlisted can play.

The list includes (in alphabetical order)
  1. Ahsan Iqbal,
  2. Aitzaz Ahsan,
  3. Asad Umar,
  4. Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari,
  5. Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari,
  6. Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari,
  7. Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan,
  8. Hamza Shahbaz,
  9. Hina Rabbani Khar,
  10. Humayun Akhtar Khan,
  11. Imran Khan,
  12. Ishaq Dar,
  13. Khurram Dastagir Khan,
  14. Liaqat Baloch,
  15. Marvi Memon,
  16. Maryam Nawaz,
  17. Mushahid Hussain Sayed,
  18. Omar Ayub Khan,
  19. Shah Mehmood Qureshi,
  20. Shahbaz Sharif and
  21. Shazia Marri.

The people on the list have been judged in terms of the role that they play within their respective party. Their level of engagement with the masses and charisma, along with demonstrated ability to be a part of the government at any level, etc.

Data used to develop the volume has been taken from many different outlets including official websites, publications, social media etc. In some cases interviews were also conducted to get the right kind of information.

The future of Pakistan largely depends on the leaders that the people choose. The top 20 options paint an interesting picture for the country.

So no General in list of 15 years? :undecided:

Guys who I think would make a great Prime Minter for Pakistan:

Abdullah Hussain Haroon:

Hussain-Haroon1.jpg

Anyone who is not familiar with this guy's performance as the permanent representative of Pakistan in the UN is missing out on a treat. Watch his old videos and interviews on youtube and a get a sense of what this guy is all about. He totally sailed past the career diplomats who spend all their life in diplomatic circles with his performance. Furthermore, he's from a very old political family and his forefathers where part of the Muslim league and did great contributions when Pakistan was being formed. He also has quite a bit of experience of politics and is a former speaker of the Sindh Assembly. Truly a gem of a guy! The world knows him & respects him. A very competent politician & diplomat. Knows the nuances of foreign policy and public handling.

Sarfraz Bugti:

Sarfraz Bugti is one of the most patriotic Pakistanis I have ever seen, and the fact that he is from Balochistan and a Bugti no less, adds to his charm for the post of PM. Imagine a patriotic PM with the surname of Bugti. wWat a tight slap that would be on the faces of foreign countries and their touts who bark all day and all night about so called human rights atrocities and abuses in Baluchistan. All the propaganda related to Akbar Bugti would also fizzle out because our PM himself would be a Bugti & would be able to give a befitting reply to everyone. It would be a master stroke.

Other than the above aspect, this guy is honest and has a definite political base in Baluchistan. Currently he is the Interior minister of Baluchistan and is doing a mighty fine job of spanking the hell out of terrorists with the help of FC and the army in the province. Stellar guy! Watch any interview of his on youtube and you'll be find out that he has a sane head on his shoulders and is more patriotic than probably every other politician in the country.

Mushahid Hussain:

He's a competent politician and a seasoned diplomat. Also he knows how to handle the media as he himself was once a journalist. Corruption free as well.

I hope you are right and that is what happens in next couple of decades, but sadly that's not how things work in this part of the world.

We can argue that because democracy was not given enough time in Pakistan the system was not able to correct itself. But if you look at neighboring India, they have pretty matured democratic system in place, but still one of the two major parties of India is actually controlled by a single family, Gandhis (or Nehrus) for the last 67 years.

Similarly in Pakistan its Benazir after ZA Bhutto and Zardari after Benazir, surely Bilawal or Asifa will be the new leaders of the PPP.

Same is the case with PMLN, look at the name of the party its (Pakistan Muslim Leauge Nawaz), it is a family run party with two brothers at the helm of the country and its biggest province, the finance minister is father in Law of Nawaz Sharif’s Daughter, the minister of power is nephew of Nawaz's wife and so on. Hamza, son of Shabaz Sharif is the defacto chief minister of Punjab and Maryam daughter of Nawaz was sitting as a chairman on a RS 100 Billion Fund without holding any legal authority.

This is the political environment of Pakistan that we are talking about and in many ways its worse than India.

There is no such thing as ideological politics in Pakistan. In US you know Republicans are conservative and Democrats are liberal, in UK Torries are conservative and Labor liberal, in India Congress is considered liberal while BJP as right wing conservative. There is no such distinction left in Pakistan, people no longer vote for ideology, in fact all of the major parties in Pakistan look the same to a neutral observer. People vote for personalities, these parties are nothing more than personality cults.

Don't expect Nawaz, Zardari, Hamza, Bilawal to stand in a presidential debate kind of forum and discuss Pakistan's problems, they know they can't and they will never allow such a thing to happen so people can judge them. In last elections local channels tried to arrange such a thing and they all sent some of their touts to speak on their behalf. They are cunning and they will never expose themselves like Imran Khan did in the last year dharna, he talked a lot instead of just reading a written speech and lost a lot of credibility because of some non-sense remarks. And believe me he did a lot better than what we can expect from Nawaz or Zardari if they have to speak without a written script. So no presidential debate style of debates in Pakistan for the next 50 years.

Regarding your comments that slowly democracy will come within the party and this family politics will end or otherwise these parties will break. Again that would have been the case in many other countries but not in Pakistan. General populace of this country is extremely loyal to either Shariff or Bhutto family, and their party members know that, so there will be no wholesale defections.

It is said that Chaudary Nisar was promised the CM ship of Punjab by Shariffs before the previous election but was latter denied of the post and that's the reason why he is upset with them but still he knows that if he leaves them he will end up like Sheikh Rashid, so he is sticking along. Any body who aspires to be a PM or a CM of Punjab province for that matter will be seen as threat by the family and will be removed or sidelined. Its kind of political mafia.

Of course we can see PMs like Geelani or Pervaiz Ashraf who were from outside the family, but we all know they were not running the show, Zardari was. And that was also because Bilawal was too young to become a MNA and a PM.

So i don't think anything is gonna change in the next 15 years, i did not vote for IK but i actually hoped that he will change things but it seems that hope is lost too.

.
I don't get it what is worst
Supporting A party whose Leaders proved of Money Laundering moreover enjoy killing civilians without any reason,
OR always praising that Party but saying I am not supporting it.
How a Person can be a loyal if He is not true to himself.
Doesn't matter whom you support, but when you support don't be kiddo and act like a Man n accept it.
